    looks like we're trying REAL HARD to find an use case for ML / AI... bubble maxxing out here chaps!

      What are you talking about? You don’t have to look far at all. ML has been for muscle deformers for like a decade.
      Sure, there’s definitely hypebeasts and “bubble maxxers” out there but don’t try to sit here and act like ML tools aren’t already being used to great effect for upscaling, locomotion, simulations, etc, like this “Minimize AI” take is just as disingenuous

    No one cares, Fix your Engine performance, almost all the new UE5 games are sooooo bad, also fix mobile package size and performance and fix vulkan,

      I super-extremely care, because this solves a major problem I have just around the corner. I was resigned to having to roll my own with compute shaders, so this will remove months of work for me. But, come on, doesn't the individual developer's lack of understanding of the engine have a lot to do with it? If you abuse nanite and have giant shadow maps and run evaluation on 100,000 actors on every tick, perhaps the engine will choke. Shouldn't the criticism mostly be directed towards studios that choose visual fidelity over frame rate?

      @@HollywoodCameraWork while the companies are also at wrong, the engine is also shitty. it needs more performance optimiztions.
