By far the best lore channel of Warcraft, it deserves all the subs it can get. Criminally underrated, and I hope it will grow much larger. Also I would really like to see a video about the fall of Sargeras and his relation with Aggramar. It would be on point considering where the game is heading.

The story of the entire Pantheon and Sargeras's fall is definitely on the horizon. We left off in this episode in a place that we can continue and introduce them right off the bat in the next episode in this chapter! Stay tuned!

Amazing video, but I think that Elune is missing in this video. She certainly had a hand in the creation of the cosmos.
After all, it is said that she created the Naaru.
We actually don't know what Elunes role was in the very beginning. I do believe she's connected to the Naaru and maybe even the opposite of the Void Lords, but as it stands in canon lore, we don't have that answer just yet!

But the question I have is, where did the Void Lords come from? ._.
We don't know -where- they came from, persay, but we do know they've been around from the moment the cosmos came to be. They watched the Titans journey across the cosmos for a long time, so they likely came to be early on in creation, just like the Naaru OR perhaps existed before that 'big bang'!
Have to ask. You update very rarely, but whenever you do it is with intricately animated videos to show the story as you tell it. Do you animate everything yourself? It's beautiful, and would explain why your videos are so few and far between :P
Excellent question, Kapuchu! So we're a two person team. I write the scripts, screen directions and narrate the videos while Jeff, our Producer and Editor, takes my screen directions and creates the slides, animates it all and mixes all the sound. Unfortunately, we can't support ourselves with this channel just yet and so our day-to-day job gets in the way of production time. Combine that with the fact we're on opposite sides of the planet and you get our very limited release schedule.
This last video took a long time because all of the visuals and 3d renders were 100% new territory for us and it took some tweaking and testing.
We try to have our videos out every 2-3 weeks, if not sooner, but realistically that doesn't happen. We hope to one day be able to support ourselves and do this full time so we can put out a video once per week or sooner! :D

So does the start of a whole new series mean the years-long waiting for the conclusion of the Odyn/Helya series is futile?
We tend to start new series to keep the content fresh and exciting. We do plan to finish the Helya and Odyn series eventually but we did choose to end it where it is now because it was the beginning of her rule of Helheim. We don't know much about what she did between then and Legion, so we'll continue that story-line with current/Legion events eventually! Soon!
These guys obviously worked with the discovery channel. Remake the video with someone who can voice act Carl sagan, lol. The title already emulates it.

These animated lore videos are made by two people!
Jesse, who does the writing, directing and voice work and Jeffrey who does all the visuals and editing, sound and music placement!
Usually we Adobe after effects for our traditional videos but this special episode required some more complex editing software to get that space galaxy effect in 3D

I love wow lore like most great stories like the lotr the have similarities to good vs evil, god vs satan etc. etc. my only ussue with wow lore is they never say how long the planets took to make after this and how long the souls of those planets took to become the pantheon
I don't play wow anymore as the gameplay stoped being fun for me but I never stopped being interested in the lore.

So if there is the 'cosmos' and the 'void' the naruu are the beings of light in the cosmos, and the void are beings of dark in the void, are there planets in the void, and are there void titans as well?
From my understanding, the Light and Void smashed together to form the physical Universe. At the borders of that Universe is the Twisting Nether, a realm where Void and Light bleed together. From what we know, there are no planets in the 'realm of the void' as the planets only formed when Light and Void smashed together. There are no Titans there either, but the Void Lords seek to corrupt a Titan to make a 'Void Titan', if that makes any sense.
I think the closest we'll probably ever come to that is Sargeras himself, who's actually called "The Dark Titan" on account of his fall from grace and subsequent transformation into a demon. But his is the power of the Fel, not the Void.

World of Warcraft and its game lore is something we've both been extremely passionate about for years. We'd love to expand to other game lore (providing we know the lore) but no plans at the moment. Any games in particular?
