First time watching and a very enjoyable video. We fly Virgin UC all the time and its always good. However major fail in the lounge .. of course you should have cocktails - Breakfast Martini, Bramble or Virgin Redhead for me! And thought video and sound were fine . I thibk unless you put the mic to your mouth there will always be aircraft background noise and I much prefer the commetary as you go. Oh and I always have a sleep on the way as it helps with getting onto US time- and ive had cocktails. Haha! Looking forward to watching more of tour videos as we are also big Orlando fans!! Ps did you pinch the salt and pepper???
Thank you so much for watching and for the support! There is always so much to choose from in the lounge and it’s such a great build up before boarding the plane! We absolutely always pinch the salt and pepper pots 😜
Also, our last few trips have a been a mix of Disney Hotel and then Hard Rock at Universal. We used to do Disney first and HRH after but always found that whilst HRH is great it's just not up to the same level as Disney. So last time we did HRH and Universal first then went to Disney. Much better IMHO. What do you guys think?
We always tend to do a split trip now staying between Disney hotels and universal hotels. We loved our stay this time at Royal Pacific, couldn’t fault it all!
There's other ways to fly upper / 1st class. Upgrades, virgin points, etc I've done it... there were 16 seats in upper on virgins new plane and all of them were taken. I'd be interested to know what people think it costs to fly upper.
@@joshandlj I did the same but now I use points for hotel bookings and the extra taxes/fees towards the hotel. The bar on the 747 was a great place to hang out though whilst crossing the pond!
@@readysetgo1743 👍 agreed. I got upgraded at gate at Gatwick a few years ago on Vegas flight from premium, 12K was seat they put me in. Don’t know of it was a coincidence but was the first time I’d booked direct with Virgin instead of through an agent. Have always booked direct since then and used miles to upgrade or just paid cash when they have a sale
Who on earth can afford to pay for children to travel upper class. Not me obviously. Love to watch this. Upper and value for me too
We love flying upper it’s such an experience, but have also flown premium and economy. I think getting the right airline is what makes the flight.

Never to early for a cocktail 😂🎉
Coffee for us first 😂
Day cream, ahhhhhhhh
😂
Loving the blog 😃!! I'm sad they have got rid of the poolt table in the VA lounge 😭 was looking forward to getting some games in pre flight lol.
Thank you for watching! The games room area seems to change regular which is interesting 🤔 hope you have a great flight!
@@joshandlj I didn't realise they changed it up but never mind still looking forward to the lounge! And thank you can't wait 😍

Yeah we are the same start with universal an then Disney as to us Disney is elite. Both are great suppose it just depends on preference ❤

Just watching this vlog now and struggling to hear you speaking. Do you use microphones?
Thanks for watching, yes we did use microphones but unfortunately had a few audio issues whilst on the plane.
Love the vlogs 🎉 not sure if video has uploaded right as seems to be a bit grainy compared to usual ones....could be me also 😅
Thank you so much! Is there a particular part that is grainy? We’ve loaded them on a few devices our end and they appear clear 👍
@@joshandlj seems fine now and the sound much better, weird 😄
Woohoo, love your vlogs
Thank you so much for the support, we hope you enjoy it!
Did you get brunch on the plane?
No brunch this time, lunch and afternoon tea options were available. Hope that helps!
Would love to do 1st class but just could never justify the costs.

@@stargazer2019 I understand the points system but you still have to pay the tax and it costs a lot of points too before the tax is to be paid.
Thanks for watching. In regards to the cost we use points and reward seats 🙌🏻
@@joshandlj we have a reward seat due. Can I ask how many points you had to use and how much tax you had to pay for your 2x first class seats?
Why fly upper class and stay in a Disney value resort, better to fly economy and stay in a moderate.
We use points and reward seats for when we fly upper and it’s always a nice treat 👍 thanks for watching

@@readysetgo1743and in my opinion a better UC cabin, 14 seats made it feel more exclusive and private on the 747
@@50kevind Yes it was a much better cabin and I liked seat 12K right by the bar
