      Same man. I'm 22 and this dude knows way more about tools and other crap than I do. I wouldn't worry about it much though until you're in your late 20s. 18-25 about is when your life is gonna be like a workshop. You don't know what to make of yourself and you more than likely won't know for a while. Takes a bit before you can finally figure it out. Just keep pushing on and doing the best you can.

    • @EwokDoesHVAC
      @EwokDoesHVAC  2 місяці тому +27

      Our dispatchers do a great job in putting accurate job descriptions. They aren’t “no ac calls” these calls were “blowing hot air” so that tells us the inside blower motor is blowing! But obviously outdoor unit is not doing its job. Questions are always asked upon greeting and filters are always checked. If they had airflow issues then they would mention it and our dispatchers do a great job asking them! I appreciate your prenotion.

    • @CapsCup2012
      @CapsCup2012 2 місяці тому

      @@EwokDoesHVAC well then why did it end up being the thermostat was the issue? Dispatchers collect information but aren’t technicians… neither are homeowners. Always walk inside first ask questions, check thermostat, filter/airflow, then focus on the outdoor unit. It’s the only way. I would have found your thermostat issue in the first 5 minutes then checked the charge. Saw everything was good and left

Check the air filter of the car, check brake fluid, coolant and oil..and from there they determine how the condition of the car is....same with hvac air filter is a must to check first. Ive read some of the comments.
    For people saying he is further ahead in life than you at 18: Listen, we all pave our ways in this world, everybodys journey is different, everybody has different struggles when climbing the ladder. You can be 18 or 50, dont be discouraged by others people success, focus on yourself and your journey, we will all get there one day together.
    For the people saying its his daddys company: Yes, he had an easier start due to his father having the knowledge, he knew what training to get etc and easier to obviously find the job since his dad owns the company but being HVAC technician aint sunshine and rainbows, its still hard work, its still early mornings, its still technical.

    23 yrs old & closing on 5 yrs service. Keep it up carnal
    Just had a question, do you guys have to pick up parts after every service call?
    Here in Vegas when we do 10-13 calls a day, that would chew so much time
