Look at the story, direction, dialogues and yes, of course the acting of amol palekar! Everything about him and his movies have always been perfect! Doesn't matter whether you are a small boy, a teenager, a bachelor, a married man or an old, withered man, you will always feel connected when watching an amol palekar movie. You will be able to relate yourself in his movies, at least at some point... Like oh yes, this is how I am or I used to be! I strongly believe an actor who's able to bring this 'relateness' factor with his/her audience becomes an instant success overnight! Amol palekar is definitely from that league... In one of his interviews he said that he has always liked to experiment with new, innovative roles and didn't like to be type-casted.
