I love your videos. I hope you could teach about how to how to separate syllables, stress in words and more as you work on pronunciation. Thank you so much!!
Ladies thank you for this, very helpful video. However, I was a bit confused on the word pair "left and laughed". It seemed that you switched the sides, rather than say your side of the word.
If you want to learn to read transcriptions, I recommend learning the symbols you are most likely to use. For example, look at the symbols in your favourite dictionary. Many dictionaries offer audio now, so it may not be as important as in the past.
Oh it's so hard to differentiate. Girl on the right says PAN and RAD quite different. In word PAN sound A sounds like in RED, but in PAN she opens her mouth wider and it sounds more like A.
For us, Italians, it is very difficult the different between sounds! 😞 I can not hear the difference between the two sounds. You give them the same way.
ɛ sound is in the word (extra). æ sound is the word (practice). but i have a question here Guys, how do you sustain your tongue without moving while your saying the two sounds !!!!!? how and how it always moves :D

Sounds can also be affected by the sounds that come before or after them. So the As in PAN and PAD may could slightly different.
I like you 😊 keep going with the videos👍🏼
Thanks, we will!

The sentences with pen/pan were difficult to distinguish. It seems like the position of your mouth is the same
Yes, the difference is very subtle.
For us, Italians, it is very difficult the different between sounds! 😞
I can not hear the difference between the two sounds. You give them the same way.
Yes, it's very difficult to learn a language!
prActice - short a, Extra - short e

ɛ sound is in the word (extra).
æ sound is the word (practice).
but i have a question here Guys, how do you sustain your tongue without moving while your saying the two sounds !!!!!? how and how it always moves :D
We've never heard that question before! As with most things, it comes down to practice. Good luck.
PS. You're correct with the red and black sounds!
