I’m still hoping for Flex Pitch sooner than later 🤞 I wonder though if they allow Logic to bypass the RAM limitations that are imposed on the other apps. Having 16 gigs for iPad Logic would be OP! Great video though!
Great video! I use an Akai MPK Mini mk3 with the ipad through a usb dongle and I was wondering if I could map the MPK’s knobs to certain functions in Logic. The keys and pads work just fine but I haven’t figured out a way to make the encoders work. Any help is very much appreciated!
I hope they bring all of the desktop stock plug-ins over in an update, like the legacy instruments that you can download in logic on desktop. It's nice having all of the packs they have on iPad, but it doesn't have all of the sounds I use on desktop so it's difficult to transfer back and forth when I use them
Anybody knows if there is possibility to import instrument to iPad version? I need Metal Drum (Palm, Ping and Slap) instruments which exist in desktop version of Logic. But I cannot find them in iPad version (I downloaded all available packs). Any way to import?
Hi. Is there any chance to use control surface to control transport controls etc ? I have presonus iostation 24c or faderport does same control too. When I plug iostation to my ipad, soundcard feature works well but play, pause, record, fader, navigation etc, nothing works. So any idea how to do it if possible ?
Can Logic on iPad send a designated track to a specific output port on the interface? For example, sending the guitar track to output port 3 on the interface.
External monitor support isn’t there yet for this or Final Cut. The app stays at a designated window dimension so it’s unable to do full screen as yet.
Thanks another helpful video. Do you know whether the normal midi keyboard / Logic integration functions - transport bar, pad assignment, scrolling presets etc works for Logic on the iPad.
Very informative video. As someone who exclusively makes music on an iPad, I’m glad to see people speaking up on the lack of feature between the Mac version and the iOS version.
@@imamusicmogul Absolutely. One of the biggest issues when making music on iOS was that the DAWs prior to Logic Pro had a few good features, but never felt like a complete DAW. This was due to the hardware couldn’t keep up with the software. Additionally, a few of those good DAWs were made by small dev teams, so you would have a decent DAW, but ran the risk of it being abandonware. As much as Logic Pro for iPad is missing in comparison to the desktop version, one would think that it will have an abundance of support for many years.
Is there a device where I can hook up my midi device to my comp and iPad at the same time instead of going back and forth with unhooking

Hoping that as well

Do a video with scaler 2 iPad. Thanks 😎
Another dope video… thanks once again. I learned stuff about the desktop app that I wasn’t aware like the key quantizing feature, lol
👍👍

Yes I should have mentioned that but you are able to stretch it out pretty large
Is it compatible with a behringer X32? I’d love to be able to load raw audio files onto an iPad and mix on my desktop at home.
So, at this stage is just another GarageBand with a few less limitations
How do you edit sustain in the piano roll. It doesn’t seem to be there
Auto play option like Gaeageband ?
There is no auto x fade? Or drag to x fade?
I need xfer serum :( must be a way to run it on iPad?
Also there’s no option to export midi
MacBook pro
I wonder if there is an easy way to remove silence from tracks - creating regions automatically by setting a minimum level.
Do a Quick Mastering video? Would the same principle apply from you desktop tutorial?
Yes it would. Same approach

The keyboard I connected did not. So I don’t believe transport controls via midi is available. But I will continue to test it out.

Thank you 🙏 is Logic Pro for ipad your go to now?
