Your presentations aren't just 'lectures' but they are artistic. This is art. The way you manage to compress huge topics into a single whiteboard, without missing all the important technical details is beyond my comprehension. You have a gift, Zack, and you really put it into use for thousands of people. I personally cannot thank you enough for your tremendous work. Thank you is the least I can say and please keep doing what you and the entire team behind you do! This channel is making a massive impact worldwide and will continue to do so.
I am Italian and I live in Naples. I thank you for the exceptional teaching you insert in your great knowledge if you come to Italy you will be my guest for free.
I must have studied the anatomy and physiology of the brain before this guy was born. He is the most awesome lecturer in neurology that I have ever heard. Thank you. What a treat. Loved your teaching so much. I never understood this stuff in Medical school (1972)...50 years ago. So grateful to learn it, now. You are such a good teacher.
First thing I spend my money on after finishing medschool is ninja nerd merch and patreon. This literally takes students through medschool, it's unbelievable how valuable these videos are
Just 3 hours ago I had my lecture in uni on this and was looking if you had a video on the topic.... You are just a blessing!! I owe all my success to you!
My 53 minutes is worth it! all the important things about this thalamus thats so hard ro understand with just reading of a book, you discussed it gracefully and artistically. You've made medicine an art!
You have no idea how long it took me to feel the first 10 minutes of this lecture. The information is so dense and compressed to a hour lecture is insane, I have to cut it into pieces to digest, it took me damn long time to realize how dense the information is.
I don't have a word to express my feeling in your lectures...you are superhero..... I would like to thank you by my mothertongue... GALATOOMII HAYYUU SAAYINSI
this is a huge effort that every medical student must appreciate, you are helping student not only in states but worldwide, it thank you so much i really appreciate your great effort. 3rd year medical student from Saudi arabia
You are amazing guys! Thank you so so much for your dedication and work just to make those topics more fun and easier to understand 💊 I wish our university prof's were at least a bit enthusiastic about teaching as you are.
It is absolutely a beautiful lecture. I really appreciate that you guys bring me such a vivid understanding of thalamus. It is exactly what I searched for a long time. Thanks a lot!
This is the best anatomy and physiology video thank you. I have seen a lot of videos about thalamus and I'm not judging them because they were also helpful but this one is way detailed and explanation is just makes sense. This is my second time watching because after first time I had to take a look overall anatomy of thalamus and learn it. So second time I got it clear
Thank you great video, only a small obvious mistake: ventral anterior nucleus you draw twice on one thalamus. Maybe you can add a correction note :) at 42:30 of the video...Thanks again for these awesome reviews.
Just found your channel and man, it's great! You found a simple way to explain extremely complex topics and that makes you an incredibly gifted ninja🤩 thank you! You're saving us all!
OMG this lecture was just mind-blowing... you're indeed a saviour and a hope of med students across the globe. Thank youuu so much for your intense efforts which makes our medical journey simplified. We love you all and I'll be forever grateful towards Ninja nerd❤❤🙏
Great Video! I appreciate the brodmann’s area association to these nuclei. I’ve been combining your lessons and Dr. N lessons and that gives me a complete picture of these structures ! Thank you so much.
I'm 16 from Iran and right now I'm studying for the international neuroscience olympiad (Brain Bee) and soon I have to take the exam and the time you started uploading these neurology videos was the perfect time for me! Your videos really helped me for understanding the concepts and details of the nervous system and neurological conditions. Keep up the good work! 👏👏👏👌👌👌
Thank you so much for your lectures. Your passion is contagious, and it makes such a huge difference for me that I just started studying neuroscience! Love it!!!
In several of your videos you talk about pain signals and pathways instead of nociception, which is a real disservice to the quality of your videos. I'm sure you know the difference but many watching may not. It's also miseducating thousands of people who will go on to miseducate others, perpetuating misconceptions about pain. Your videos are so good, and this one little thing let's them down so much for me. 👍
I’m sorry you feel this way I try to do my best to pour as much beneficial content into these videos and keep them as accurate as possible. I’m sorry that this didn’t meet your expectations!
@@NinjaNerdOfficial it is 99% awesome. As are all of your videos that I've watched. But I keep bumping against this. Pain is an area that I work in and the first thing I need to do with clients is teach them that pain isn't a signal that something is damaged. Pain is created in the brain from various signals IF it there is sufficient threat that is interpreted as important in that moment. Maybe you could do a video on modern pain science and clear it up for people? And obviously start talking about nociceptive signals instead of pain signals! Keep up the awesome work!
Just a dude and his whiteboard getting me through med school. You're not just a ninja nerd, you're a ninja hero.
Well said, friend!
Agreed!
A perfect presentation
Good luck❣️
😂

Can we just appreciate how excited he gets talking about his favorite nucleus? The fact that he HAS a favorite thalamic nucleus?
Mine's Anterior Nucleus
Mine is medial geniculate nucleus
