SCHD is better when I compare using Portfolio Visualizer. When one buys an income ETF, that EFT is already diversified so I don't think I need to buy more unless the EFT is using different strategies like SCHD and JEPI or BST
Louis fair point about the diversification and SCHD doing better. I do like the equal weighting of NOBL though, at some point you can be too diversified.
I too love SCHD, but I've recently added NOBL and DJD. My current split is 50% SCHD, 25% DJD, and 25% NOBL. All 3 have solid capital gains, dividend growth, and defensive properties.
Lower starting yield is a sign of quality. The market values steady dividend payers that grow the dividend by 8-10% each year, so your yield of cost will get larger each year. I DRIP a few hundred shares and buy more every month through my workplace retirement plan. High yield stocks don’t grow their dividends quickly, think VZ or MO (more recently).
Always appreciate learning about new companies 2 etfs from your channel. Interesting how it’s weighting isn’t by market cap, but equal. Only thing is I am surprised it’s yield isn’t higher. Either way, cool etf to think about!
The goal of the etf sounds great. However, looking at the somewhat low yield doesnt really scream buy me. Then i look at the dividend growth over the last 2 years and it screams run away. For now SCHD will do.
True - I just wanted to cover another ETF I see people in the community talking about. Shocked the yield is so low when you think about what this ETF specializes in. I have been buying into SCHD almost on a weekly basis!
Hello buddy am from india recently i heard abt 3 fund portfolio strategy and from the comments i came to know abt dividend paying etf+growth etf being better so am thinking of doing the same but i dont know much abt etfs in us so it will be very helpful if u can help me choose xd rn was thinking of schd+qqq is it good or should i change qqq with something else?any help will be much appreciated
Hi Kunal! I’ve heard that QQQM is basically the same thing as QQQ just lower expense ratio and less chance of doing options trading. Some other popular Dividend ETFs in this community are SPHD, SPY, DGRO, JEPI, JEPQ etc. Hope this helped a little bit. SCHD and QQQ are among my favorites.
great video,,im always interested in dividend ETF's that maybe get overlooked or fly under the radar..and i kinda feel bad for ya it seems like everyone wants you to find something better then SCHD and they set the bar kinda high..
This might be one of the realest comments I’ve ever gotten lmao. Everyone wants an ETF that has dividends like QYLD, pays monthly and also beats the market with low volatility.
My largest holding. It's hedged me well through my crypto losses (hi gemini earn) with my physical silver. So, after this, what's the next best dividend etf to invest. Or do I just keep buying more $nobl.
Tough to hear about Crypto, glad I only kept a small % of my net worth in them. I cannot give personal investing advice like that. My favorite dividend ETFs are SCHD and DGRO. Best of luck :)
I would consider dollar cost averaging buying bitcoin only. Every other coin will go to zero most likely. Bitcoin is clean from all the nonsense in the crypto space. But I was looking at EPD but they have a lot of interest bearing debt which I don’t want.

@@citizenoftheyearCC expense ratio is a little steep

Great points - I like lower starting yield if it means more growth in the long run
What do you think about KNG? Etf tracking same index with some covered calls strategy to increase div yield
I think DIVO is better and lower expense ratio.

Yea def would of thought the yield would be higher but you know you are in good hands.

Does NOBL have a place in your portfolio?
