Jason you have truly been blessed!! A beautiful wife, a farm with a awesome family of critters. And a fantastic, absolutely adorable daughter that is sooo smart and thanks to you and Brooke and the good Lord above she will have a jamming adulthood that will just multiply this childhood you guys provide. My heart just swells up with pride for you all!! Thanks for sharing with us and giving us hope for a better future. We love y'all!!, Marilyn
Looks like it's time for you to get your goat in the Backwoods area for some clearing. And Mary Catl has such a gentle touch with her eggs but she's a sharp gal and knows what to do. She has so many talents and abilities!
Well that's exciting. Jason's adventures on the farm. Love making the rounds with you. This city girl never knew how fun farm life can be. Something's always happening on Cog Hill Farm. Hard work but great fun.😁
😍😍😍 OMG!!! The incredibly sweet way in way you guys treat your animals is just so awesome!! Gave Ozella 3 of her babies to hatch on her own is just so kind... you guys be safe!
OMG I love this family and how they care for all God's creatures. Thank you Cog Hill family for the love of your animals and life!!! We need 50,000 people more like you....God Bless You !!!
I think if people were to watch your channel for the first time & see all of your animals they might think you were a bird sanctuary. I love to watch all that you guys do & your love & care for all of your animals. Its easy & interesting to watch. Even your goats & garden give us great information. God bless you all.
Yeah, peacock 🦚 eggs..... hopefully they hatch along with the other 3 do well under mama..... wish you could have moved her and the entire nest in the coop! Look how big those turkeys are getting... all those lovely birds....
So glad you found the peacock nest!!! I told my husband that now I am excited to see the eggs hatch!!! Thanks for sharing your all’s life with us. God loves you all. God bless you all. P.s kiss and hug sweet peaches for me please.
Loved end of video when Peaches is just strolling down the drive beside you lol. I’m so jealous of y’all’s life. I have goats chickens quail and ducks have 2 raised beds so far.i started to start a channel so other women my age (55)can totally do this. Not easily but if you really want it can do it.
Congratulations Ozella and Scott. We have 5 newly-hatched barn swallows on our front porch, but we haven't named them. We haven't even named their parents who nest here every year.
My papa Tony had a bunch of modular grates he would put together and when he'd find one of his gals sittin out of the coop, he'd build a protective cage around her with it, and anchor it to the ground to keep her from getting predated.
Amazing! But after joining the Cog Squad, my husband now wants roosters, a peacock and a turkey! Where we live now, we can't even have a rooster and he's looking for another property! You're a bad influence on him. haha. Just joking. We love you all.
Keep on trucking. You'll find the right property for your goals. I found mine. I now have 10+ acres with 2 small gardens, chickens, ducks, geese, and goats. 👌
I love the look on your kids face when you "you found her in the wood?!" So Cool. Peace :) P.S. I can't believe you found anything like that in 'The Woods' wow..! Really.
I wish me too this type of life to live but unluckily i can't you guys are so lucky, I have peachicks, turkeys etc but haven't big property like yours. May you all lives good and healthy life ,like ur birds 🙏
I was thinking it as you were saying it in the video. Please watch out for rattlesnakes out there brother. Great video. That's one sneaky little bird! I'm glad it all worked out for the best.
So exciting to see you find her eggs!!! Will you add these two to the three she hatches? Sweet, lots of turkey chicks ... like the beautiful ducks too.
That’s awesome you have some peacock eggs now . Now let’s hope she doesn’t get eaten. Of that was at my place she wouldn’t last the night . I need a outdoor dog but I just can’t make it work right.
Join the fb group peacock fanciers and breeders for the best incubation, many breeders have spent years trying. She should have 6ish and some decoys... the end is the hardest
have you seen the video of the guy who lived in a 3rd floor apartment in Belgium? europe's biggest owl made a nest in his planter box and hatched 3 babies. they sit there in the window box and watch TV with him. Vroege Vogels is the channel name
Waiting for those baby peacocks. I sure hope she stays safe though along with her eggs. Laying around when expecting lol. I had to work until a few little issues arose and the doctor took me off work, but my son I worked until the week before he was born so no laying around for me. They are adults now with their own children.
It's late spring here in Kearney, MO. Got a proud new mama hen with 4 chicks and 5 eggs left so far and today the 2nd set of bunnies popped out from under my chicken tractor, 8 more itty bitties. How I'm going to have any garden this year without a big fencing project, I don't know. Wouldn't mind peacocks but my neighbors might. Well, 2 houses up have guineas so, maybe not.
We've had a beautiful peahen adopt our front porch on May 5, 2022. Every day she would return until the late afternoon of June 20, 2023. I am looking for her everywhere. I named her "Pretty Girl, Pretty Girl." Whenever I came to place food and water on the porch for her, I called her. Almost every time she would rush to me when she heard "Here Pretty Girl, Pretty Girl." She trusted my husband and me and many times, she would eat from our hands. How I miss her. Some of you with more expertise could share and suggest if I need to continue placing fresh food in her bowl. Daily it appears that something has nibbled at the seeds. Perhaps she is 'nesting?'
When my sister and brother-in-law used to Ray eggs they always leave the pens closed up until at least 10:11 and not go out there and disturb the hens until that time and you'll be should get more eggs by that time all the chickens it will have all there egg-laying done and when you open the door up they want out get out quick so try that and see what happens
Beautiful babies!!! I'm curious whether you have ever raised Armenian cucumbers? They are so delicious. Never bitter, very crisp. I think they are considered a musk melon. Once you try them it's hard to go back to regular cucs.
I'd LOVE to have a pair of Peacocks. ❤️ I'm on Lookout mtn AL. Btw, Do they go in at night with other birds or stay out in the trees? I have a huge bird house in my barn with a total enclosed run. McMurray is sending me 15 speckled Sussex Aug. I have 2 ducks sitting eggs 😁.
I have family in your area, im raising 5 peachicks now from tx, and will be in chattanooga this fall. Let me know if you're serious about peacocks, they take up to 2 yrs to lay maybe a dozen eggs, and boys 3 to 5 to get their trains
Dear MC, I have a very important chicken question. I am wondering what breed of Rooster would you choose for a small flock of lay hens. 10-20 ladies! We would like to hatch out some babies to keep our egg production up so any advice on what ladies you like would be very appreciated also! I know you know your stuff, girl! 😉 Love y’all’s vids!!!
Thank y’all!!! She said she would try and find an Americana rooster. They are known for laying a lot of eggs, and their eggs are generally colored, and for the most part they are gentle roosters. For hens she suggest naked necks. They are super tame and lay a ton of eggs but she said if you don’t like the way they look, she suggest marans, Americana, or barred rocks 👍👍👍
Hopefully there’s some little pea chicks running around the farm that would be so cute
Heck yes 👍👍👍 heres to hoping 😌
ikr oh, I want peacock eggs when I grow up to raise them(I'm eleven yrs. old using mom's account)!!!!!
Jason you have truly been blessed!! A beautiful wife, a farm with a awesome family of critters. She is or was trying to lead you away from where her nest is located when she started honking or squaking.
The Cog Hill egg hunters. You got your practice in with the previous emu egg hunt. Good stuff right there.
Looks like it's time for you to get your goat in the Backwoods area for some clearing. And Mary Catl has such a gentle touch with her eggs but she's a sharp gal and knows what to do. She has so many talents and abilities!
MAN! When you handed MC those peacock eggs she had the biggest twinkle in her eyes! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of that.
I never heard it called lizard tail.. we call it swamp root but I know it has multiple names... the root is medicinal..
OMG I love this family and how they care for all God's creatures. Thank you Cog Hill family for the love of your animals and life!!! We need 50,000 people more like you....God Bless You !!!

We want a peacock after watching your videos. If all 5 hatch and you decide to sell we are a couple of hours away here in Alabama. 🤞
Your goats would make quick work of the part of the property
👍👍. God bless y’all ✌️
you should rotate your goats through those woods.
Well unfortunately those woods are not my property

Where do you get snowy mallards? We've been adding to our ducks and they are beautiful!
And OMG peacock babies!
They came from a local feed store but check with Ideal hatchery 👍
