@@PlayBackBoyz They always sing live while also dancing and so they practice singing while running on a treadmill. If you want to get an idea of the energy they bring to live performances, there are lots to see. The one a lot of us suggest as first to watch is the MMA's 2019. You may want to watch the tracks first separately as because it is live, there are no subtitles. They were: Persona" / "Boy in Luv" / "Boy With Luv" / "Mikrokosmos" / "Dionysus". It is about 40 minutes long performance, but is amazing.
@@PlayBackBoyz This practice was for their Yet To Come in Busan concert. You can check out the Bangtan Bomb of the performance. They opened the concert with MIC Drop followed by Run BTS. Then they proceeded to do a 2 hour concert!! 💜💜🔥🔥💜💜🔥🔥
The boys train by doing cardio and singing at the same time. At concerts they dance and sing live. No lip syncing. They take to much pride in their craft and go all out.

Dance pracs used to be released as a gift to ARMYs for reaching 100K views when new songs were released. Of course, ARMYs can reach that number of views in minutes these days, so dance pracs are usually released either at the same time as the official MVs, or the next day. Our boys are absolute perfectionists, so it doesn't matter if it's a MV, live performance, or 'just a dance prac', they approach it in exactly the same way - by giving us the best performance possible... sometimes recording a dance prac video up 14+ times, (one after another), before they're satisfied, only to find that the one they choose to release was in the first three or four that they recorded. Dance pracs are invaluable to ARMYs, who, because of the mere nature of MVs, miss out on much of the choreo. Most idol groups will release dance pracs these days, and even if they're just mucking around and having fun whilst doing it, they still show us just how professional they are.
Fun facts: BTS have always practised possible scenarios, for things like slips, falls, wardrobe malfunctions, and MIC exchanges between members. It's inevitable that unexpected things happen, but BTS always try to minimise possible outcomes. As you can see in this prac, Jin's bandanna didn't fall where it should have, but we can see just how seemlessly the problem was fixed. Most groups, if missing a member for whatever reason, will adjust their choreos to fit the number of members, but if BTS is missing a member, for example, when SUGA had his shoulder surgery, they will use their choreo as is, leaving the space where the member should have been, visible to the audience... it is the utmost respect for their member, and of course, OT7. The boys will increase their lung capacity and stamina, by singing whilst running on treadmills - it also helps them to keep their voices steady whilst performances.
We must also give a shout out to the amazing backup dancers, who always do BTS proud, and of course the incredible cameramen - all of whom, work so hard to ensure the best and most amazing performances.

To live in the 21st century and not know this band is very regrettable. Sometimes I feel sad because many people do not know the legend of the century because of stereotypes and meaningless views. Yes, bts is a legend and many will see it in the future. What they have done, what they have achieved is more than any singer has ever achieved. It irks me so much when I see people shit on them for being a "meaningless Korean boyband for 12 years old". Like... it's so obvious they don't know a single thing about them but just dislike the idea that they have of them in their collective minds. When I try to explain some things about the group, people don't even believe what I say and deem me a "fanboy". Because obviously they know more about them 👁👄👁

Im sure the Beatles had some tough years with prejudice as well when they started out. BTS has years and years to make their stance in history.
But it irks me a bit when we say they are legends - cause we armys can’t just say they are legends and this is how they become that. They sre on Korea 100%. But they still need more time to become that in Europe for example where many still don’t know them. And that’s no one’s fault. They just have to make a name for themselves here more with Armys help 😊 But like I said - they still have a lot of time to become that. I’m sure they will 😊

BTS are known to be better live. Their energy and stage presence are just unmatched. I often come across people saying they've been to endless concerts including legendary artists like The Beatles and they have BTS as their best concert ever. The more you react to them the more you'll realize how talented and versatile they are I've never seen any group like them before.
Besides their super strong and unique vocal line and lyricism they also easily have the best rap and dance lines in k-pop. J-hope is the best hip-hop/freestyle dancer while Jimin is the best contemporary dancer who often incorporates his background in martial arts in his dancing. I can't wait for you to get to the guide and start to actually learn about them.
yes I agree having been to a BTS concert and I've been to many huge Stadium concerts of some of the biggest band for the past 35years.

Their dance practice videos are of course the finished process. The polished version ready to go on stage. There are many clips of them actually rehearsing and making mistakes, but all the dance practices are the finished version. Yes they are cardio kings, hahaha. They sometimes perform live 5 songs in a row with the highest energy all the time. . it is crazy.

This song was performed only ONCE at their FREE concert lol they didn't make much for this entire concert but think about it this is BTS dancing 10+ years into their career as if rent is due. Mad respect to them never lowering the bar but instead raising it.

Their last concert -- they went straight from Mic Drop into this song with full choreo and live vocals, wearing big old jackets and dark fits. And they do that sort of thing all the time. It's nuts.
But there have been a lot of times mid-show or post-show (mostly when they were younger) that as soon as they walk off the stage smiling and waving, they immediately collapse behind the scenes and need air and ice.
Jungkook used to overdo it A LOT when he was younger and has learned to pace himself better. He was just so eager to go 110% every time.

You caught on right away. This is NOT a dance practice to learn the steps. All of their videos labeled dance practice are really a final run-through practice before their Dress Rehearsal on the MV site. Then they film the actual MV. This is for the crew and directors to catch anything that needs to be "Tweeked" before the dress rehearsal. You saw one mistake. When Jin threw his bandana up, he either didn't throw it right. Or the person supposed to catch it..didnt. But here is an important instruction that all performers learn. If there is a dance mistake, don't draw attention to it. The audience has never seen the dance before. So. Go with the flow. And if it's a prop mistake, do what Jin did. When he was able, he picked the bandana up off the floor. Thats so important because it prevents injuries. No one slips on it

You are right they definitely have a lot of endurance and stamina. They had to practice 12 to 16 hour days and run on the treadmill while singing to keep the vocals stable. They really trained extremely hard and it was no guarantee that they would even debut or last, but look how far they come.
To really appreciate the synchronicity of their dances with only the members, you might want to check out the following dance practices. These are not in any particular order; Danger, DNA, Dope, Idol, Fake Love, and Fire.
Also, almost all of the MV's have a dance practice video.

What I want to imprint in your brains is that they only make it *seem* effortless. They are really good at staying composed. They always sing live while doing intense and complex choreographies. Doing 2-3h concerts alterning between intense choreographies and vocal focused performances.
They often collapse when they finish their performances because of how taxing it is and how much energy they put into their shows. They take oxygen backstage to not faint. They sometimes performed when injured (sometimes with fresh stitches even) or sick.
All of that because they don't want to disappoint ARMY. We care more about their health but that's part of why we support them so much - they always work their hardest for us.
It would be interesting for you to watch 'The Rise of Bangtan' docu-series. It's fan-made and shouldn't give you trouble with copyright, so you don't need to edit the reactions. The quality is definitely professional and will give you information on the K-pop industry and BTS from when they debuted in 2013 till maybe 2019-2020?. It's really interesting because all the information comes from the guys, their label or official sources. The episodes are quite long (30min+) and there are 21 episodes with deleted scenes videos and funny moments videos for each chapter. So it's quite long to go through it but it's extremely interesting to learn about them as people and as artists behind the scenes
They also have official documentaries but I doubt that it wouldn't get copyrighted. 'The Rise of Bangtan' uses clips from some of those documentaries though 💜

One thing about BTS they have some of the best backup dancers on the planet and it shows in their choreography, the stamina it takes for a performance is amazing and when you practice until it’s perfect ( all night sometimes) it’s what makes them so special
I went to the last concert in Las Vegas and was a blast. They are so great, singers, dancer, they have a nice charisma with the fans. Im glad to be an Army💜 (HBD ARMY)

The did this song for the first time at a free concert for Armys in Busan, and 50 milj armys watched it free online. there was also a couple off thousand on the beech close to the stadium, this was Bts farwell concert beacuse the had to enlist, Jin is out now and J-hope is finish in October and the rest 5 come in june 2025
They are the rare artist that are even better live and this song might be one of their best live and they only did it once at their last concert (Busan) together before they went into the military. 💜

They actually practice what to do when things go wrong too.
Their producer, Bang PD would watch the practice and pause randomly and check if their in the exact same pose - even where the seven members are looking is checked 😊 BTS’ hard work is on a different level 💜
Firstly this was the finished version so more of a rehearsal than a dance practice. Somewhere there is a behind the scenes which shows them working on sections and suggestions different moves but I can't find it at he moment. Mostly the practices you see are finished versions. You need behind the scenes videos to see the process. There aren't too many of those. SHINee were the first group to show their practices when someone leaked one of theirs. Now all the groups do them. You can see videos of them adjusting the choreo to fit a particular venue or practicing sections just prior to a performance. J-Hope leads those as their dance captain. When he had COVID just before their Grammy performance of Butter the others worked out the choreo between them and J-Hope learned it quickly after he recovered just in time as did Jungkook who also got COVID. That's a good one to watch as the choreo is tricky and Jin was injured so they had to rework the choreo so that he was out of the way. He had injured his finger and had to be very careful not to knock it.

I think it would be cool if you guys did a chronological journey of BTS, like reacting from the first to the last ot7 album, listening to other extra songs in between. then react the solos albums in order too, and on Patreon you could watch, bon voyage, in the soop, the documentaries, run bts, etc.. it would be a really cool journey to follow, of course there is no need to go in a hurry, take your time enjoying the content, the armys would like to follow along!
