Debating on whether to get the Pochette Metis in Empreinte or in Monogram Canvas? I'll tell you the biggest differences in the video as well as which one I personally prefer. Hope you enjoy !

I own both the empreinte version (in noir and cherry berry) and the monogram version currently. I completely agree that the empreinte version is so superior. I've had my empreinte pm in black for two years and it still looks brand new (with no glazing issues or worries about vachetta leather) . Worth every penny.
Thank you for sharing your experience! Sometimes when I call out negative aspects I worry that my experience is a one off and my conclusions differ from others, but seems so many people agree that the leather is much better! And darnit...I “NEED” a black one too 😂😂🤣🤣

I've watched SOOOO many of these videos in preparation to purchase this bag (my first bag over $350) I've been eyeing it for 6 years, and now trying to decide between reverse mono and the new wine empreinte and this is the most relatable vid! Spongebob analogy was perfect for my likings, and thank you for pointing out that your hair gets caught in the grommets. I don't wear chain crossbody for that reason.
Also, thanks for not including a what's in my bag...I've grown bored of ladies showing how they fit their Chanel card holder, mini pochette with their random essentials, the LV 5 key holder, and their Ray Ban sunglasses into the bag 😂
So exciting and such a big purchase for you!!! In understand the need to want to do your homework. The new wine colour is stunning and I secretly wish I could switch mine for that colour.😅
Unless you know for sure you want a canvas bag I would always advise for the empreinte leather instead. It ages beautifully, is much more durable in the long run (leather can be repaired, canvas can’t) and the price difference is not that big considering that.

I went with the empreinte! I went into the boutique today to look at both side by side and she gave me the canvas first. Then I actually giggled when she pulled out the empreinte and I knew the decision had been made 😍

I went to my LV boutique a couple of days ago and tried on the noir and Marine rogue. I love both colors... I was there for a little while to decide which color should I get lol Finally I got the noir since I've got the Emilie wallet in noir and they match perfectly. I love your cherry berry! I've been meaning to say that your editing skills are awesome lately! What was that magnifying glass trick!?! Super cool! Oh, and the content is great, too. ;) I looked at the Speedy 25 in empreinte a while back at my store and the entire bag was crooked! I was shocked at how obviously messed up it was. The ones that aren't, though, are gorgeous and I'd love to add one to my collection, too.

The small one with the strap seems very practical and I love the shoulder strap option: makes the bag versatile. For me personally, I feel it’s too small for my frame and also..I feel it would fit too little for my liking for such a high price tag. If you do go for it, I feel it’s a fabulously timeless silhouette!! 😍

The metal rings that are around the holes on the strap on the canvas PM are called grommets. :) (English isn't my first language so I'm always learning the random words for these little things that pop up in conversations.)

I have it in monogram and empriente noir. The leather in noir is HANDS DOWN my fave bag ever. That red one is so juicy though! If only we could have them allllll 😅

The beauty of the bag is the structure ... I have PM in mono 2019 and the strap is very flexible ,canvas is soft but keeps the structure I my self don't like that bag loosing its beautiful shape 🤷♀️ but glad they have ot in leather for people that like otherwise
I have had an issue with my pochette metis in black empriente. Really bad corner wear one one corner only. It’s like the surface of the leather has rubbed off. But even given that it is still my favourite and most used bag. I also have the rose poudre one and have had no issues with that one at all. I have heard so many UA-camrs complain about the canvas one and in particular the uncomfortable strap. Whereas the leather one is so comfortable to wear I barely know I have it on even when it is filled to capacity. It’s also a much dressier bag which suits my lifestyle better. I feel that the canvas one is limited to casual only.
I hope you continue to enjoy yours, but do be careful of the corners. Empriente leather is beautiful and very versatile but it’s not indestructible.
I’m sorry you had that happen with the corner! BUT, happy to hear you still love the bags! I should’ve gotten the leather one in the first place: LOVE IT!! Also, at the end of the day, no material is indestructible...I just think leather wears off more naturally and prettier.

I had pochette metis in monochrome too and i sold it and bought it in empriente but i miss my monogram one now alot. Although i do love the quality of the empriente but still i miss monogram.

I’m the opposite I won’t buy LV leather ever again ( I have the epi leather speedy 25) and the leather doesn’t slide well nor was it sewn well so now it’s crooked

Hi! Is the colour more of a merlot or burgundy? Or is is red- red? Online it looks too red for me but your version looks like the beautiful burgundy I lOve!❤️
I feel it’s more of a burgundy, but you can’t argue about colours. If you look at my first video of the year (a few videos back) I show it next to true red shoes. Maybe it helps a bit. I feel it is a little bit darker than it looks online, but it depends also on the light that falls on it. I know, very confusing! Best thing is to go and see it for yourself 😬😁😘
They have it in two different reds, one is a little bit longer on the market, it's called Écarlate (scarlet), the other one came out I think last season(?), it's called Cherry Berry. The écarlate is a little bit brighter than the cherry berry; so I think the cherry berry would be the one that fulfils your wishes more.

I'm glad if I can help, sometimes it's really difficult to tell how the colour shows up "in real life", if you've only seen pictures and videos 😊! I have the "écarlate" colour on both my Empreinte Clemence wallet and my Zoé wallet, it is a very beautiful, but slightly lighter red (I actually was hoping they would add the Cherry-Berry-colour to their Zoé wallets, because I love this colour, too (red is one of my favourite colours 😊), but they didn't. Too bad, would have saved up for it 😉.

I'm tall (5'10) and I wish this strap was LONGER to wear crossbody! As a result, I don't wear it as much as I should! Agree?
I must say I don’t have that problem. I’m 1m80 (Which I think is a bit taller than you?) and I’m very curvy... It hits me perfectly on the longest stand. Do you have the monogram or empreinte version? If it’s the latter, you might add a few holes!

I remember not liking how the monogram fell on me, but I reckoned the empreinte must fall better since I’ve lost weight...but perhaps the strap lengths do differ. I’m sorry you’re not using it to the fullest ! Maybe opt for a longer strap?
