All 3 houses needed to be remodeled. I feel sorry for this couple, waste of time.

Totally agree, and #2 had a busy road right next behind it with cars zipping by.

@@bearcho3874 Yup...and he specifically asked for quiet. 🤦🏻‍♀3 of the worst houses I've seen on this show.

Although I've really liked the mystery house, I understand they didn't want to put much work into it, but it has so much potential and those views!😍

That’s the trouble with having a slightly smaller budget, people still have a huge wish list and struggle to accept how much they have to compromise , liked the first house best

Or they need to serach in a different area of the country. Something needs to give. Unrealistic people are always giving me headaches. I agree with you the first house was my favorite too.

Lovely homes. The last one seemed small but then how much room do you need? I live by myself and find my two bedroom to be more than I need. I really liked the first home.

I agree! I've liked the mystery house!

Kind of ironic the buyers said they'd sacrifice space in the house for peace and quiet, and then were worried about the peaceful location house having currently small space. I liked house 1 best.

I like house 1 the best too...I wonder if these city people are shocked with the truth of rural living when it comes to crunch time

Showing them 2 houses right next to a fairly busy road doesn't provide a peaceful situation at all! Please make a greater effort to follow the requirements of the prospective buyers requests, including a large kitchen.

I use to watch this show on tv in Canada. I didn’t realize how beautiful the countryside in England is.

I'm watching from Canada and I've always been in love w/English (UK) countryside -- and I prefer rain + more temperate climate. Brexit ended my eligibility :(

At this age, it's a move in ready or not. Not one was suitable, and all the fuss in add-on construction is not worth it.

house #1 - take out the utility room for the kitchen? then where is all that stuff going? they can put in a small table. no barstools! good grief....#2 - horrible layout, too small, too loud with the traffic #3 - too small and not worth spending $$$ to reconfigure the house. also it's detached which is a negative, value-wise.

A wish list is always reasonable in the abstract. Reality is a different kettle of fish. Dorset is a beautiful county, but it's an expensive county. I personally would change locations and get a bigger bang for my buck.

My least favorite presenter on this show. Her recommendation straight off in house number one is to get rid of the pesky washing machine in the kitchen, so that they can expand the space. So, where is the washing machine going to go? She's also big on knocking out walls, many of which are load bearing.

must have had the house interiors filmed on 2 separate occasions...at the 30 minute mark, the washing machine was not running and there was a large blue/purplish item in the machine...then, when doing the recap at the end ..at the 41:25 minute or so, only white items are showing in a once again, non running washing machine... lol

Those poor cows! I'm so thankful that there are so many vegan alternatives out there now!🙏
Although none of the houses shown was right for this couple, I still appreciate the upload, thanks!

I agree about the cows. 😢 I fast forwarded that. Seeing them as dairy produce machines and not beautiful caring mamas is called cognitive dissonance, which masks and justifies to ourselves the cruelty inherent in the whole system. As to vegan alternatives, pretty non-existent here in Japan! Can't even buy a vegetarian ready made curry from my local supermarket, let alone anything vegan. I envy you!

@@carolinewiggins2803 what a shame, I had no idea! I hope one day you'll be able to get those products too and that more people will realize that choosing kindness (being vegan, or vegetarian) is the only way to go.
      God bless you!

It was too bad that the buyers had champagne wishes with beer money. I loved the last home because of the chance to expand. But perhaps they can find a less expensive area to live; and once they actually make up their minds as to what they want, they'll be happy. Good job Jenny!

NO offence to the lovely farmer but do you know how we get delicious dairy products? Babies are taken from their mothers who suffer tremendously, as do the babies. Sorry to be a downer but we negatively impact other species and the planets at such a level I'm sometimes ashamed to be human. The farmer looks like the kind that would treat animals well. I'm sure the cheese is brilliant.

Save the planet while you can't even save yourself. I most definitely am not ashamed to be human and I eat meat. The calves are weaned 60 - 90 days after birth. If cows aren't milked they go through pain as their udders are full. Get your story straight, your kind want mankind to go back to the dark ages.
