2023 WJC U20 Highlights: Czechia vs. USA (Bronze Medal Match)

Another incredible medal match between the Czechs and USA did not disappoint. The US would score on their opening shift which can be a huge boost in a World Junior Championship game, but the Czechs did not allow this to phase them and responded twice in the first period to end the frame at 2 a side.
The game began to tilt in the Czechs favor during the second and third period where they built off their PK and goaltending which were both stellar in this game. The final score indicated 6-4 and it was actually 5-4 with less than a minute left but Radim Dostal would ice the game with an empty netter.
