We lost my brother in similar circumstances that were so unfair and it was compounded by the injustice that followed. The toll on my family was 3 lives lost, the grief was unbearable and inhumane - I'm the only one left now and even after 47 years, the pain is still raw.

Very often we don't get the opportunity to confront those who hurt us. So, the very best thing to do is just to forgive and carry on, move forward, even if there's not been a "please forgive me for what I've done to you and your family"
