If your wood is getting stuck, try raising the pressure plate and the funnel conveyor by 1 stud so the wood makes better contact against the funnel conveyor. I tried this and it works better for me.
Omg I found this, build it and loved it. I adjusted it so it could cut bigger pieces (my idea for this was for it to cut the wood into tiny pieces so its easier to transport)
I make the log cutter machine same and it works very good i am happy with this machine this machine can change building speed and it takes less time from my side this machine in lumber tycoon 2 very very good ❤❤❤❤
I had the same problem, you just have to wait until the first one pulls and then it's fine (or if it's been like a minute angle ur camrea down and pull)
for some reason using the pressure plate the pieces of wood don't fall through, so I modified the design to use a laser. However, it's no longer a single unit it's now two units but aside from that, i love this design. Far better than the previous design.
if it cuts into 2 units you could try decreasing the size on the sawmill. if none of the prices fall through it means that your funnel conveyor isn’t gripping the wood so you may need to change the placement, It’s normal for the wood to be cut in an odd way every once in a while and not be able to fall through. but it looks like you have found a good modification that works for you so that’s good!
@@neilrefusekid If you have trouble placing the chop saws, i'd recommend placing down a large floor blueprint or two (dont fill) against the back of the pressure plate and then placing the chop saws against those.
For some reason, a small clog would always happen between the two saws and the pressure plate. I'm not sure if it's only happening to me, but I did add a wire as shown in the video and it doesn't appear to help. This clog is typically easy to fix as long as you don't have a large backup of wood already running to the saws. What I think I'll do to fix this issue is lower the wire by a tile. If I remember, I'll come back to this with an answer.

you can also make the wood longer than one unit by putting the funnel conveyor and the pressure plate a bit farther, but keep the saws in the same place
for me, the wood mostly gets stuck due to the conveyor not pulling it down because it has less conveyor downforce than pressure plate. so I would recommend glitching in lasers in between the conveyors trust me it works verry well
Thnak you! I built this on my plot and works amazing!! The only problem I faced and couldn't solve was that I could only place the funnel conveyor either 2 units below or above the said position .. but it still works like yours :) Edit: I moved the conveyors one or 2 units lower and te funnel conveyoyr problem disappeared. Have made these sooo much ^^

If you're struggling to put the saws right just place a short smooth wall on top of the pressure plate then place the saw its alot easier

If the testing didnt work try put the sawmill to 1.8 x 1.8 because its will work and be a perfect fit on the conveyor. Plus thanks a lot for this.

False, the minimum is 1.8x2.0,so the smallest cuts work, the diameter is smaller and won't work

How did you construct/wire the auto loader variant visible partially throughout this video?
there is an separate channel that made an tutorial on that unloader
For some reason, a small clog would always happen between the two saws and the pressure plate. Nope - a tile lower only caused the wood to get stuck between the wire and the conveyor, while not making it to the pressure plate to begin with.
... Just as I say that, it works - but in a weird way, and only to clog up.

For mobile players, to place the chop saws easily, u can place 2 floors on top of the pressure plate

if you need help placing the pressure plate you can use a tiny floor and 3 tiny tiles and then place right on it

if your peice of wood is rolling after it hits the pressure plate make sure that the funnel conveyor direction that it sends items is down
