Jason don't take this the wrong way but I watch your videos to fall asleep. I have very bad insomnia but with your calming voice i am able to watch your videos and i almost fall asleep with the first 10 mins. After I wake up then I watch the video in full and see what i missed. You should do more mountain videos. Anyway great job with your videos. You are a wonderful painter just like Bob Ross. Keep up the great work!

This video is a couple years old but I love your moonlight mountain and the very detail you put into it. I watched bob Ross video on something like this and I love the blues, whites and blacks this video, makes it look like you pulled the moonlight out of the canvas, if that makes any sense. @JP I also fall asleep from Jason's calming soothing voice and have to watch them a second time to view the entire video something about the way you pain Jason, combined with your voice causes me to drift off to sleep very easily. You are NOT boring I must stress but just a calming affect

This one is my favorite so far. I love the serenity. Very nice. I've always loved the look of moonlight reflecting on snow. Looks like a carpet of diamonds. :)
Beautiful painting
I find it easier for me to use a fan brush and then the white a little bit then pull back the brush long ways with my finger to kind of splatter the white in the places I want the stars or spray even for waves.....love watching you paint!
I'm an artist too, and I find your paintings to be so real and breathtaking, I have been painting for about 6 years and I still have hard time painting landscapes.

Using the darker blue/white combo for shadow really added to the painting, vs just black.

Merci Jason, je viens de regarder celle à l'acrylique donc avec la même main et cela me conforte depuis que je regarde des vidéos, que l'huile est plus facile a magner comme texture que l'acrylique vous avez fait les 2 tableaux qu'en pensez vous en tant qu'artiste confirmé et je dois dire quel artiste!... Merci

Great pic just like Bob Ross I've started my collection of paints and brushes and stuff just waiting for my black jesso hopefully I can try doing this I went to rehab for alcohol and been clean nearly a year now I needed a new hobby so I've stated painting

amazing work for the stars I would have put liquid white or thinned down titanium white on a fan brush and put my fingers through the bristles and sprayed the white around the sky

I am a acrylic painter myself, this type of scene how long would you leave a satin black background before would start the painting? I don't have what you would say a sealant for my acrylic paints...

Are you always only using acrylics?
Angele Furet did you ever learn if this piece was all acrylic, or was the black gesso the only acrylic and all the rest oils.
