Spot on with the sleep, i had 5 mmol testosterone on multiple 8am tests, 2 years on TRT and still fealt like crap, high hemoglobin, high hematocrit, high cholesterol. Caught a joe rogan podcast on sleep apnea and got tested, turns out ive been being strangled to 70% blood oxygen 300 times a night! Registered severe apnea. So glad you mentioned sleep in the first spot of your diagnostic protocol, had you been my GP you would have saved me tens of thousands of pounds. Also for people who.maybe suffering chronic fatigue, random parasympathetic nervous system triggering, and feeliing essentially like death everyday, you will have no idea you have apnea, the episodes of waking and gasping for breath go unnoticed by your concious brain.
@@Domn879 I just bought a pulse oximeter that's syncs via Bluetooth to your phone and it tracks your blood oxygen levels and heart rate through the night. They are pretty cheap, I paid £35 for one off amazon. The doctor would not accept the results and I had to use their equipment which is called acupebble and this verified I had a severe case of it. I'm just now in the process of eliminating it. What symptoms do you have?
I only wish MORE of the world would hear your many positive and scientifically accurate messages. Often times it seems like the chaff of the internet gets more audience, and the finest of research and truths of whatever it might be seems to be harder to find, harder to be heard. So simple, yet not. In spite of your success with your clinic, I hope you continue to be generous with your time and energy to produce such valuable content as you do - it puts some positive balance into the internet that is so full of misinformation.
As always, thank you for your kind words, of course I will, my message only has to reach and positively impact one life for it to be worth 10 mins of my time 😊
thank you for the video and for acknowledging the issue. I have been looking for that meaning and purpose for a long time, it does feel harder now than ever, yeah, its dangerous feeling!
I reckon you should approach a TV complany for documentary to be made about TRT. There is not enough awaremenss around tesosterone replacement in comparison to things like HRT. Whenever testosterone is mentioned it often conjures up the idea of steroid abuse / extreme body buildiing when in reality normalising testosterone is key for mental and physical wellbeing, I reckon something like BBC Horizon - you could perhaps include a side by side 12 wk reserach trial of testosterone vs antidepressant vs placebo in men with borderline / low levels . Ive no doubt TRT would come out fairly highly . It could also include some interviews with people that have had success with TRT but also some that have been turned away from NHS. I think it would prove a popular documentary
I had suicidal thoughts basically constantly since the age of 14. The mental effects of TRT have been dramatic for me. I just cannot hold a negative thought for more than a few seconds. My whole life I would torture myself about conversations, perceived insults and adverse situations. Now any obsessive thoughts are just whisked away by my brain and gone
I've started to experience hair growth on my upper back! I've been on TRT for 6 months, when will the hair growth stop? At the moment it's very fine hair and I'm hoping it won't get any worse. Do most people get this?
I'm 9 weeks on trt and I feel as if my depression has gotten worse. My doctor hasn't asked for estradiol blood test. Makes me wonder if there's anything that can be done about this. Can you treat remotely patients from Spain?
@themenshealthclinic ok thanks but I understand there's no need to travel to the UK for every consultation or follow-up, once you've been evaluated, right?
@@themenshealthclinic I enjoy your videos. I’m on TRT and am looking at a hematocrit of 52.9 and Hemoglobin 18.1. I have minor symptoms nothing major. Looking to keep it in check. Thank You Doc

Interested, as I sleep like crap and usually feel like crap. What did the test involve? Was it expensive?

Great conversation/ advice, as always. Thanks Dr. Stevens.
Thanks you 👊

Do something, do not procrastinate, continued learning through action! 👊

Epic! Keep rolling 😎
Since being under the care of TMHC my moods have lifted a hell of a lot, they are the best in the game by far !!!!

Test has made my mood more stable for the most part
Good 😊
Comparison is the thief of joy.

Unfortunately, not, but we do have patients travel to the clinic from all over the world for their new patient consultation and yearly thereafter 👍

You will need to be seen every 12 months in clinic, the rest can be managed remotely 😊
Hi Dr Stevens would HCG be better than TRT with high FSH high LH
HCG is part of TRT protocol at TMHC
Where does low testosterone end and the misery of being an old man begin!
