- This year for the King of the Hammers 2022 event at Johnson Valley OHV in Landers, California we decided to put our Busted Knuckle Production Rock Bouncers to the Ultimate test. We brought 8 of our turnkey rock bouncers out to trail ride for 5 days straight on some of the hardest trails that the hammers has to offer. On Day one of our Trail Bouncing Adventure we decided to do Chocolate Thunder, Idle Issues, and Jackhammer Trail. Stay tuned for more as we hit harder trails as the week progresses.

went to KOH for the first time this year, met you your wife and little girl. Man the whole experience was probably the best desert trip I've ever had. So many people and things to see out there, def going back in 23.
We love going out there for sure.
It was insane seeing you guys conquer stuff that looked impossible. It was also cool seeing Greg from Mt. Home Idaho - just down the freeway from where i live (Nampa). Your machines are "UNBELIEVABLE".
Thanks Greg is a pretty good driver.
Парни вы неимоверно круто развлекаетесь, такие гонки и подьемы по горам-это просто неимоверно. Респект и уважуха!!!🤘🤘🤘👍
Thanks!
👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸💪🏻✌🏻 Right On Fella,s ! Built to have a BLAST !! 💪🏻 APPRECIATE THE FOOTAGE 😎👍🏻
Thanks we all had a good time out West with them
Man, that white bouncer is the bomb. Talk about making a statement... Thanks for the ride Cameron, nothen but fun. If I would have known that dude from Idaho was going, I could have hitched a ride, helped out with fuel and stuff....maybe next time...
Which one? 😬
The one you were driving bro. I been watchen this channel for over a year now. That white buggy you was driving is the best looking one Ive seen so far. Don't get me wrong dude, I like them all. Its just that that new White buggy just stands out, white eye catcher for sure.
Carch you on the next one man. Have fun, be safe, enjoy, and make someone smile...
@@rsmileybetcher4098 thanks I am super stoked on how it came out
What I wouldn't give to have terrain like that in my backyard! You guys were killing it out there and having a great time doing it 👍
It sure isn’t in our backyard!
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I stand corrected! Great stuff, either way!
@@jerryvolpini7987 it’s a fun place to visit once a year though!
I think this is the first time I’ve seen Rock Bouncers- Rock Crawling. lol. Most of the time you guys just jump stuff. It was cool to watch these beast crawl. Your cheep Jeep XJ could of made it. Haha 😂
We build them to be able to do it all
Love seeing those bouncers in the rocks. 😁🤘
they work so well out there
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Any good wheeling there?
@@BustedKnuckleVideo No...
that sucks
Cool factor is out of this world. I've always said I'd make it to Johnson city one day. Lol... that day hadn't came yet
Johnson Valley is a magical place for sure
I sure like your videos I watch him all the time some of them I watch more than once or twice I would like to build my own so I can have the same amount of fun I'm way over on the West Coast keep up the good videos I'm trying to learn from them so I can build my own
My best advice is start with a chassis and go from there.
im buying one of these before i die. mark my words
We are ready to build you one when you are.
Looks like a fun club, keep it up!
We had a good time
I'm so jealous that had to be crazy fun keep them coming great video
It was a ton of fun
I'd be a little frustrated crawling with a bouncer. Just wanting to smash the skinny but knowing it won't help in most spots sucks. I'd still do it for sure though lol. 🤘🇺🇲
That is the good thing about these. They are built to do it all
Man I wish I had a toy like any of them. It would be a good adrenaline rush ripping a rock bouncer.
we build them for customers all the time
@@BustedKnuckleVideo yea I know and they are awesome but unfortunately I don't have the funds to do something like that.
Rad!🤘
Such an epic place to wheel
Building and driving 👍
only way to make them better
Badass. I like seeing the billy goats in their element. Don’t know much about the KOH race but any way the bouncers could compete in the main event? Is there an unlimited class? Maybe some gear change and extra fuel? Most of the failed racers “die” in the stuff these buggies are built for. Seems like these would dominate at least some sections of the race.
As they are they wouldn't meet tech. We do want to build one to race though so stay tuned!
Awesome video. If you were to build one for a customer what would rear steer option add? Just curious not that I'll ever afford one in the foreseeable future. It seems to add tons of capability.
It’s around $10k
@@BustedKnuckleVideo ok that's about what I was guessing. I said $7500 - 10k. The rsv axles are prob 3k by themselves. Either way great job on those buggys!
@@slowfox89 we plan on doing a video where we swap mine to rear steer. It can be done in a weekend. All the mounts are already there.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I look forward to it. I'm gonna be doing good to get my front steer on super duty axles working like I want. No mounts are there hahaha
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇸🙏
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Dang those tires needed to be aired down!!!!! the seem like thy are at 15lbs, they should be at 5 or less sometimes for crawling
We run them at 6-8. You have to remember these rigs only weigh around 4000lbs.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo And the sidewalls are BURLY!
@@stratobungle yeah that too.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo they need less air for sure IMO, with those tough sidewalls you can probably run 0 lbs like military tires
@@stratobungle It must be the lack of sidewall flex that makes your rigs literally bounce over obstacles, not crawl
@Matt did you take your new bouncer?
Sure did.
Dude that's sweet I wish I could have made it to koh this year.
It was awesome this year
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I heard, I love the channel and love the rock bouncers you guys build. Koh is only 3 hours from me.ill be there next year for sure
@@ateamoffroad1179 we hope to see you there. Look for the busted knuckle compound out in the lakebed. Me might take 12 next year.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo sweet I'll definitely come by and check it out.
these beasts need the rear steer for trails like the hammers
Didn’t stop me Jake and Todd from conquering everything 🤷♂️
That put the rock in rockbouncer you guys showed them how to wheel
We had a good time no doubt
Genial💯💫✨✨✨✌😜
good times
What size gas tank them buggies have
16, the 2022 models have a 22. Wasn't an issue the entire time we were out there.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo thanks
Do the shootout next year if it’s anything similar to what it was this year
It was pretty lame this year
Was wondering, do they allow Rock bouncer to compete in the Koh...???
only if you meet tech requirements
@@BustedKnuckleVideo they wouldn't even podium in the sxs race..its not the mid west or the east coast..out west is different and you know that..they looked like fishes outta water..actually like great white sharks outta water..ultra4 is a different level
How much of this do you think a stock jeep could do lol
Not much lol
West coast guys like "wtf are those!!!l" the premo of east coast riders
we turned heads having 8 out there this year
I think its highly likely these are actually better than some of the actual rock crawlers
they are meant to do it all. A comp crawler might be able to get up some things easier but they can't go 65mph across the desert either.
Why not enter one for the Shootout?
Nick Nelson entered the shootout and got 2nd I believe
One of the nights he put on a great show at backdoor as well. 🤘
@@davyleupz we hit Backdoor a few times 🤘
@@BustedKnuckleVideo That was the short coarse, he didn't even hit the wall lol, but I guess if Wolf hadn't showed up...these rigs are rad though, the best.
It seems like if they had a way lower gear they'd be better for that stuff
The gearing seemed plenty low to me. I like that they can crawl, bounce, and go 60mph across the desert with this gearing.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo they probably aren't really made to go slow
@@noduh736 they can do it all actually. We just don’t do the whole double low tires barely spinning type of crawling.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I've watched alot of your buggies in person at windrock. What are you actually running for tcases and why.
@@johnslawnseasttn4489 atlas pro case, light strong and reliable.
Can I buy a bouncer for $20 too?
You'll have to talk to Greg about that LMAO
NEVER DO THIS 10:30
He was just feeling of the rock not trying to stop the rig from rolling.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I dont believe thats smart either!!
