With 2024 it's all about the focus on missions...and that's good. In the FSX and earlier days it was the missions and addon mission packs that many folk remember and enjoyed the most. Meaningful, enjoyable missions forces you, in parallel, to learn to fly. If they've also speeded up the fps and spruced up the gfx (which are superb in 2020) then excellent too.
The whole idea for 2024 is that it aims to be significantly more mass-market. To do that, we're talking consoles, and to do that, we're talking 'average' internet speeds. I have a feeling they either won't be relying on asset streaming so much (stored locally on a per-mission basis), or/and, they have significantly improved streaming compression. I wish them the best of success for FS2024. I'll be eagerly checking out its release.

Is the 'save game' fixed? FS2020 it's broken.
What do you mean? I've never used a save game feature in the sim.
It's the same game with a few addons
Ahh but it isn't! Believe it or not, they actually rewrote a significant amount of the engine. 2020 began development in 2016 and much of the base layer has been changed in 24! Plus much of the autogeneration is going to be computed cloud side meaning a much lighter load client side. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
yeah so lets see if xbox x can at least record your landings in fs24 like you could in every other edition before fs20. Fat chance.
