Thank you, Scott from Seventh Day Guitars, for the opportunity to play this guitar. It means the world to me that you'd think of me for this. Much love, brother!

My Brother in Christ, thank you for everything that you do for the worship guitarist community. I am especially thankful for your willingness to just check out a guitar. Investing your time and talent in making this video is truly humbling and filled me personally with so much joy. I truly cherish you and can’t begin to define just how honored I am to have the privilege of fellowship with such an awesome man of God.

This sounds so good . I was thinking of getting a fender Tele but I might just have to go this route. Great video bro.

Scott makes a really incredible guitar and the Psalm series is a crazy good value for what you get. Awesome review Troy!

I personally would get this over mim fender or squire tele.

Squier classic vibes all have bone nuts, but the hardware statement remains true, particularly the tuners!

Looks and sounds fantastic! Really nice showcase of the guitar. The blondies are such great sounding pickups...I have a tele my buddy built me with some, and just love how snappy and clear they are. I even prefer them slightly to the cremas I have in a LP-style guitar, but you're right - the single coil hum can be an issue. For me, playing live I don't think it would be as big an issue, but for recording when everything is scrutinized a bit closer I've been reaching for the LP/cremas more often than not to avoid the noise.
I've been following Seventh Day for a min now and have def been intrigued by his builds, especially for the price he's selling them for and the specs he's offering. I'd be curious your thoughts as to what kind of stuff separates a guitar like this from some of the $2.5k-4k custom guitars other builders are putting out? Wonder if its due to the materials, or build process, or details of how the final product turns out (or maybe combination of all)?

Fretwork, feel of the neck, attention to detail and, hopefully, a bunch of micro details that only the best builders stress over. Customization to the nth degree as well. If a custom builder is on their game, it’s a beautiful thing. It’s when you pay top dollar for those differences and they aren’t delivered on-that’s hugely disappointing.

Is there a difference in sound between the mesh neck pickup blondies versus the regular nickel-plated neck pickup blondie?

What’s do you mean by single coils are too loud?

The wiring in the building I play in must be a little wonky, because I can’t use single coils. Single coils buzzzzzzzzz like crazy at my church. Not at home, but at church.
