    I know exactly what Mr Moreland is talking about. I was saved while living in Colombia, South America and I have seen innumerable miracles. God is moving mightily in miracles are abundant! Signs and wonders! To write a thousand books.

    JP Moreland!! He has richly blessed us for the past 20 years. So grateful for a brilliant, logical mind stewarded to bring hope for the supernatural. Dr. Moreland’s vulnerability about his own journey profoundly encouraged me in my own. Thanks for having him on, guys!

    He is an awesome guy. I experienced a crazy miracle a few years ago and had the chance to talk to him about it. He told me it was absolutely a miracle. When things are super specific for which you are praying, and then get exactly answered in a way that is totally out of the ordinary, God is working. I think we sometimes have a hard time believing that God could possibly care that much about us little specks on earth.

    He spoke in my church at an Apologetics Conference.
    The book looked so interesting, I bought it the night before he spoke. Good thing, because it was sold out after he told of people saying they saw angels around him.
    I love this book! I gave it to several people for Christmas.

    I enjoy this conversation. It is a struggle for me, sometimes. I prayed for a good godly man to be healed from pneumonia he got caused by Covid and was expecting it. He died. I couldn't figure out why God said no. I still believe that God still does miracles, I just don't know why He says no to some and yes to others.

      I truly believe that is one of the most difficult things I wrestle with as well. Be of good faith, my friend. You are not alone, but I do believe God is good and he still performs miracles. God bless you richly!

    Absolutely love jp, I would love to meet him someday. Iv had 3 miracles that I'm aware of, and Iv questioned them thoroughly and skeptically. They have helped keep me anchored in times of severe skepticism,

      I've commented earnestly about having Dr. Neil Anderson on the show three times now (twice at other RR videos) and in great detail. He's the bridge between Conservative Evangelicals and Conservative Charismatics. Better do it soon. He's getting up there in age, widowed, and not likely to be around much longer. He's a repository of wisdom and it'd be a shame not to tap into that before the Lord calls him home. How about it, guys?

    Really good an interesting show. I guess for me, if I was in pain and someone prayed for me and now I’m not, I really don’t care whether it was a coincidence or not. But that’s just me… I think it is great to know these things, but I don’t worry too much about whether something is a coincidence or highly probable or whatever. If it hurt and now it doesn’t that’s great. Those who want to be skeptical can keep being skeptical and those who are hungry will know that God is working. Has it ever dawned on them that God can work in “coincidences “as well? Whatever they may be.

    • @cmorr70
      @cmorr70 3 роки тому

      I get what you are saying Ryan, but I think the significance is to grow faith that God works supernaturally in our life. Recognizing that God orchestrated the "coincidence" helps faith increase.

    • @ryandawson2877
      @ryandawson2877 3 роки тому

      @@cmorr70 right… That’s my point. Whether it is a coincidence or not it’s God working. Myself being a super naturalist, I expect him to work in our lives all the time. It’s just that sometimes skeptics want to look at how likely something is… How often it might occur, etc. My thing is, if you were in pain then you’re not now… Praise the Lord! Some people want to get all upset about some illnesses being psychosomatic and so we have psychosomatic feelings… Well if it works praise God. Some sicknesses are of the mind and in the mind and if it comes that way, then there would need to be a deliverance in the mind. So thank God for the supernatural. I guess I just think a bit more simplistically about some of these things. I expect it and it shows up. I certainly think God for all the studies out there about it and it is edifying, but if someone wants to be a skeptic they’ll be a skeptic anyway.

    • @ryandawson2877
      @ryandawson2877 3 роки тому

      @@cmorr70 of course some skeptics are genuine and they really do want to know and so that’s good and I’m not talking about them. I’m talking about those skeptics that won’t believe anything and apart from an intervention from God they never will get anything either.

    How does he differentiate Providence and Miracles?

  • @TeRongo
    @TeRongo 3 роки тому

    Talking about miracles. It would be great to see you guys review the online ministries of Daniel Adam’s supernatural life, Katherine Krick, 5f church and Isaiah Salvidar. There are many heretic hunters talking about them and a bit of noise around things like zoom deliverance and mass deliverance meetings. I see the gospel being preached, demons being cast out, the sick healed, mass baptisms, repentance and renouncement of other gods and discipleship. It looks like revival to me.

  • @chrismillard8222
    @chrismillard8222 2 роки тому

    Well you need to consider that Daniels prophesy on the Messiah making his triumphal entry was made 500 years before it happened. The prophesy was written in the Septuagint 300 years before so it's absolutely established the prophesy was written before time. Daniel said from the proclaiming of the rebuilding of the temple to that day Jesus went into Jerusalem on the donkey was 69 weeks of years (or 173,880 days if you work it out to the Jewish lunar calendar Daniel used at the time). It worked out to the day........ It's not hard for God to work work out the timing of the answering of a future prayer when he lives outside of time itself.

    Quite simply we are told not to chance miracles or signs and wonders by scripture. It's chasing of these things that lead people into deception and some of the ridiculous things we see in the charismatic movement

      I would disagree with that. Because something gets misused in situations does not relegate scripture to the dust bin. Scripture says nothing about "chance" as you say.

      The Bible says to eagerly desire and to pursue Spiritual Gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. We can do that while staying true to Scripture…we should be Word and Spirit Christians, not casting off or diluting one for the other.
