Hi Spike! This is Zohair from PCNA, I helped arrange your PECLA delivery experience for the S/T. So glad to see you, Zuckerman, and Lieberman are in good health and safe after these scary times in Los Angeles. Excited to hear you all are enjoying the S/T, and driving it as Porsche intended. Cheers to many more miles and smiles! Excited to hear many more stories about the car as time goes on!
The more I watch Paul the more I wish I had made other choices in life to be like him, it’s too late for me to practice personal injury law (I’m 49) and get a fleet of Porsches but i can start being a better friend and person to friends and family! Thanks for being a great guy Zuckerman!
“When I first moved to LA I didn’t have anything, I didn’t even have potential.” - Zuckerman Now look at him. What a story. I know he’s not the type, but I really wish he’d write a book on his life.
21:49 I think everyone who listens regularly knows Zuckerman is a gentleman who cares and helps wherever he can and to see it happen when Jonny is talking about his gardener is so great. I imagine Zuckerman does a lot behind the scenes we don’t hear about to help people in difficult times. Spending your hard earned money on Porsches and helping others is pretty perfect.
As a Porsche enthusiast and collector myself, I get the enthusiasm about the S/T on one hand but not on the other. Yes it has the engine from the GT3RS, which BTW isn’t as powerful as the 911 Turbo, and yes it has a special clutch and manual shifter. IMHO the much lower cost Carrera T would be my choice, with the 6 speed manual it would offer just as much driving fun for the majority of drivers. The majority of these S/T’s will end up as garage queens whereas I don’t think that will be the case with a Carrera T
SCR has been my absolute favorite podcast for years and I was afraid that I'd have to rethink that as it transitioned to become a UA-cam channel because it perhaps would become too oriented toward and rely on the visual medium. That said, I want to compliment SCR and the production team for continuing to make this a great podcast experience. I find that if I do want or need to get a visual I can always go to UA-cam later. Keep up the good work!
Also, Zuckerman’s hilarious bravado veils a very thoughtful and loving person. Really appreciate you guys and love listening. Also, mega spec on the S/T!
Great podcast. Loved hearing about the Aussie S/T guy. Revival Cycles in the house! Speaking of, it would be great to get Alan Stulberg on the pod whenever he comes to town.
One vivid memory I have of the '91 Oakland Hills Fire were the solidified puddles of aluminum on the streets & sidewalks. Aluminum wheels & engines melted and once the vehicle husks were removed, only the little puddles remained.
Great show. Production note ... PLEASE lower the front after you park the car (today's S/T, RS Spyder a few episodes ago), this is a detail you guys would appreciate.
It's great to see someone as busy as Zuckerman be generous with his time and knowledge. I hope this inspires others (listeners, co-hosts) to be as generous.
The Australian guy with the S/T definitely had luck on his side, moved here with a cycling business and then bam Covid happens and there's a huge bike boom.
Congrats on that lovely S/T! Seams to change color depending on on the camera. By the way, has anyone heard from Matt Farrah and Zack Klapman? They’ve gone radio silent.
“When I first moved to LA I didn’t have anything, I didn’t even have potential.” - Zuckerman Now look at him. What a story. I know he’s not the type, but I really wish he’d write a book on his life.
Just found your channel, watched all episodes, then decided to listen to radio shows. I started with spike bmw, yikes. Please stay on UA-cam live. Ps Zuck, I sold my 435i droptop for a M2C, it rocks
Best video episode yet guy's, Zuckerman on his phone while Jonny talking GRish, Hitler auditions, The Hungarian, Porsche S/T we got it all. Killin it men.
As a poor-Porsche fan, i just dont see the value in the S/T or GT3RS. They might be fine on track, but im SURE one could take a base model and have it drive on the street BETTER. I was hoping a Porsche specialist would have done tjis already.
This is the first video of this podcast I've ever listened to and I never expected Zuckerman to look like he does. I always pictured him as some sort of fucking mob boss, dressed all in black maybe with a hat
Free promotion PCW in return for a temporary allocation. It is a podcast that needs new content hence new cars hence new Porsches. Perfect set up. Just admit to it.
What is "me thol"... "..we decided to not do 'me thol'.. "no, not on this car"... What am I missing? I sold Porsche from 81-88, and thought I knew EVERYTHING...😅
I've never heard of a single Australian moving to America and why would you it's the worst country in the first world assuming you pretend that are no healthcare super multi-racial country could be first world. You might get some Australian tourists there because we are all super rich but you would never see anyone move to the US from Australia. We never see American tourists in Australia because let's face it they can't afford it and only get one week leave a year when the rest of the world gets four or five weeks a year
It's in the name Sports/Touring. The 992 S/T is a road car, the 911S/T were club race cars before the RS programme and I have driven 6 of the 8 S/Ts in the world to give context to this. No one is racing a 992 S/T as you would get smoked by a 992 GT3 RS or 992 Cup car. All race numbers are square now so a meatball is as dumb as it looks.
listen big shot no one cares about your credentials and there are 49 not 8 … no one said it is a race car and is not a road car (not sure what u r smoking) … 1972 yellow number 41 round meatball and 1972 light blue number 56 porsche used in marketing ad with new S/T both have round meatballs … do you homework pal … Porsche offer these “Heritage decals” to celebrate the past
The Australian guy saving his S/T is a good one!
Spike does know how to deliver a good story the odd time when Jonny lets him finish. 😂
Jonny
@@jonnyliebermanjeez didn't even let this guy finish his comment before interrupting him with the spelling correction. Haha
Loved that story

Absolutely
Thanks Zuckerberg for your comment on the silent victims--I'm embarrassed that it didn't even occur to me!

19:01 Thank you for showing my videos! 🙏🏼

Eager to listen to this ‘Bricked Up’ podcast!
God I love these guys.
Great show guys. That ST spec is next level. 😎
Also, Zuckerman’s hilarious bravado veils a very thoughtful and loving person. Really appreciate you guys and love listening.
Also, mega spec on the S/T!
Lieberman’s views on EV’s are irrationally dogmatic. Dude, what is with this obsession!?
He co-hosts an EV podcast.
@ does that excuse him from objectivity?
“I’m even younger. I’m like an onion…” 😂
I'm glad it took so long for you guys to get the pod in video format because you guys are absolutely nailing it with these episodes.
Thank you sir 🫡
My brain suffers Dorito damage every time I have to listen to a Huel ad.
“I drove a Porsche whatever” Hey Zuckerman, I drive a Volkswagen Atlas.
Damn, this is a great podcast. Congratulations on the ST!

Zuckermans laugh after sneezing on Lieberman, can only be experiencd via video.
Sounds like a trip to ATX is in order!
It's truly a beautiful thing.

This guy is pure class
Zuck
1:02:55 holy crap I legit almost spit out my drink LOL that was hilarious!
Listened to the audio and came right to UA-cam to see this moment 😂😂
Great story on the S/T saved .
“I’m even younger! I’m like an onion!”
The Australian guy with the S/T definitely had luck on his side, moved here with a cycling business and then bam Covid happens and there's a huge bike boom.
Nice success story about the Pedal Mafia CEO. I'm a cycling enthusiast, so I've heard of Pedal mafia.
Congrats on that lovely S/T! Seams to change color depending on on the camera. By the way, has anyone heard from Matt Farrah and Zack Klapman? They’ve gone radio silent.
They’re taking January off for vacation
Zuckerman on his phone the whole time Jonny is talking is wild.
“ACHEWW!!” - “LIEBERSWINEEEE!”
“When I first moved to LA I didn’t have anything, I didn’t even have potential.”
- Zuckerman
Now look at him. What a story. I know he’s not the type, but I really wish he’d write a book on his life.
My 1998 Subaru legacy outback wagon with 5spd weighed 3,180lbs stock. For a big wagon that’s not bad but for a modern supercar that’s incredible
Zuckerman wearing a scarf in LA as I sit here in NC at 5 degrees. Don’t get cold Zuckerman LOL
Gorgeous spec on that S/T
This show is so much better than tst
Oops
Just found your channel, watched all episodes, then decided to listen to radio shows. I started with spike bmw, yikes. Please stay on UA-cam live. Ps Zuck, I sold my 435i droptop for a M2C, it rocks
absolutely beautiful car
Best video episode yet guy's, Zuckerman on his phone while Jonny talking GRish, Hitler auditions, The Hungarian, Porsche S/T we got it all. Killin it men.
Great Story about Pedal Mafia..PM gear is excellent quality
that sneeze was a personal injury
Johnny please do research on lithium batteries before arguing about them lmao. You don't have to be so incorrect about everything all the time
That S/T is stunning
Zuckerman is the MAN!
give Spike and his neck the scarf next time 😂 🫠
Let the man age in peace!
Of course, Spike gets an allocation for the ST.
Great car… but why go with window display spec?
I love spikes lady glasses.
Oliver Peoples. They help him spot Lieberman beard fibers on the desk.
As a poor-Porsche fan, i just dont see the value in the S/T or GT3RS. They might be fine on track, but im SURE one could take a base model and have it drive on the street BETTER. I was hoping a Porsche specialist would have done tjis already.
Hey Jonny! Some more facts: EV’s are prohibited on many overseas ferries here in Europe. Guess why? 😊
Fear!
@@jonnylieberman Of course! 😊
I was thinking Z was muting / taming himself because of the cameras and then he drops a hi+ler casting comment 26 mins in. 😂😂😂
Put Johnnie’s beard on Zuckerman……………brothers?
Johnny - Instantly defensive when it comes to lithium fires, regardless of whether or not someone is trying to attack electric fires 🤦🏼
He need to be the "expert" on something.. He has an EV based podcast and that makes him an expert.
@MrX-y6b exactly lmao
This is the first video of this podcast I've ever listened to and I never expected Zuckerman to look like he does. I always pictured him as some sort of fucking mob boss, dressed all in black maybe with a hat
My son gets a huel every morning on the way to school. He is 16 and 6’4” so it’s needed
😎
36:00 Porsche Clearwater isn't going to let you keep it, since there is obviously a deal there
No deal. The boys own that car. Confirmed.
@SpikesCarRadio and Porsche Clearwater will be the ones selling it in 3-6 months... That is the "deal"
Free promotion PCW in return for a temporary allocation. It is a podcast that needs new content hence new cars hence new Porsches. Perfect set up. Just admit to it.
That’s Carolina blue.
my only vehicle is a VW camper with zuckerman decal + thanks for no patreon
Jerry's 917 bid to $25M & he didn't sell.
🔥🔥
Hmm…. Those comfort seats kind of ruined the interior 😢. It looks a bit fat 😝
no meatballs club ------>
Z looking quite jaunty today.
Johnny is such an EV shill 🙄
What is "me thol"...
"..we decided to not do 'me thol'..
"no, not on this car"...
What am I missing?
I sold Porsche from 81-88, and thought I knew EVERYTHING...😅
"Meatball" - The large white circle on the door with the number.
Damn, Spike's Car Radio uses child labour. #freerichard
We will vigorously defend these spurious allegations!
'Symbolises his escape from Australia' 😅😅😅 Yeah, cos people famously want to escape one of the best countries on the planet to go to LA@
They’re all still coming to America 🇺🇸
Not for long. I suspect it was more a market led decision than lifestyle.
in leaving home stories locations never matter
I've never heard of a single Australian moving to America and why would you it's the worst country in the first world assuming you pretend that are no healthcare super multi-racial country could be first world. You might get some Australian tourists there because we are all super rich but you would never see anyone move to the US from Australia. We never see American tourists in Australia because let's face it they can't afford it and only get one week leave a year when the rest of the world gets four or five weeks a year
Spike did make clear he was escaping his situation not the country.
He white wheels looks sick with the blue
👊
Stop reading the comments Jonny!
Read the comments, all of them. Most are positive and most tend to be " stop interrupting and stop going off on a tangent"
Jerry's 917 was bid to $25 million, he declined the offer
Spike should ask Jerry what the reserve actually was or if the whole thing was a Mecum publicity stunt...
No Patreon but 3mins of ad reads every 6mins 👍
Correct. Free content.
That neckbeards comment on IG about how Mercedes were better 50 years ago. Whatever dude. 🤣
Meatballs and #
represents the Heritage S/T racing ethos so YES to decals … comfort sofa’s numbs the whole experience and misses the point
