- I've got a few accessories going to be going on the Rmax but before I go adding a bunch of electrical goodies I need to make sure the power output of the Rmax is enough to handle it. To do that, I add a second battery!

great video great install..love your enthusiasm but if you want to install the OEM yamaha heater thats exactly the location you need to do so...just saying
I’ve herd that from a few others as well so thanks for the heads up! I didn’t know that’s where the heater install but I don’t plan on ever installing one. If I do I guess I’ll just have to move the battery...lol.
Harbor Frieght makes a really nice tool for those clips.
Perfect timing, I'm waiting on my true isolator to put my second battery in. Nice fab job on the tray.
Simple but effective!
@@AppalachianMountainRiders use nylock bolts?
I carry a battery jumper . But I have thought of adding another battery .
Even with a second battery a compact jumper would still be a good thing to carry. If not for your buggy someone else might need a jump start!

Awesome install video sir!
What’s the difference between that Lithium Iron and a gel battery?
You can run your bar lights, pod lights on the acc power switch i do on mine and never had any problems. ps ' like your videos keep it up, Bruce McCallister, good old West Virginia.
I’ll be in West Virginia riding Hatfield McCoy in June!
@@AppalachianMountainRidersI Invite you here in Braxton county sometime this summer , we have miles and miles of trails here , come up and check us out.
(Dutch speaking...) What is the stock battery? A 12V lead of how many Ah and what are the physical dimensions? Why I ask it?
1) can you place a physical (slightly) larger battery with more Ah? Or can you place 2 physical (smaller) ones in parallel into that 1 stock slot?
2) can/may you place the 2nd battery flat (floating 90 degrees) above the stock battery if you build some kind of construction for holding it? Or will it hit the bonnet/hood --> yes that means you have to remove that first to service the main battery, but it's just a tought of me...
3) Is the True Lithium Isolater needed if any of the 2 batteries are a Li one? (I mean, they do not have to be both Li for using that isolator?)
4) Is there room under the passengers seat to place the battery?
It's cheaper to keep a GB40 Noco jumper with yah! My second battery gave up on me for some reason so i stopped trusting it.
How are you supposed to be able to clean the dirt out after a muddy ride with out taking the whole machine apart? Wouldn’t it rust out from leaving the wet mud under there all the time?
Does this isolator have the ability to use the second battery for starting if the primary battery is discharged?
So the LI battery is for the accessories? I was thinking of using one of those as a oem replacement battery...
What gauge wire did you use to tie the batteries together?
Can you put a deep cycle marine battery?
As long as it’s a 12 volt you should be able too.
Where can I get the rpm rmax exhaust
