- Welcome to my channel. In this video we will review some charms my husband purchased from Value Village for me. Let’s decide if they’re real Pandora or fake 🤔🤔🤔

I have collected for many many years, It is my belief that the puffy heart is not authentic as the shape is slimmer than the original, altho the hallmarks are in the correct place. Muranos can vary in size so keep that in mind, also stampings have changed over the years. The teapot, the black onyx dangle and the I love you cube all look great and I would state they were authentic 👍 What a great find!!!
Thanks Kimberley, you’re the second person warning me about the puffy heart, it’s weighty like original charms but I can see what you mean about it being slim. I really want the black onyx dangle to be real 🤞 I don’t think it would have been replicated as much compared to other more popular pandora charms. I appreciate your comment!
Great finds. I am doubtful of the puffy heart but the teapot and pink polka are great finds!

I've just searched through my hearts and gainst popular belief I do think your heart is genuine, it looks pretty much identical to mine which was one of the early heart charms.
I also have the blue dot murano that I bought preloved that the glass was very rough i polished it back to a smooth shiney surface and now looks pretty good
Thank you for your reply Charmed Crone, I wonder if Pandora changed the mood they used from the oldest to later releases of the smooth hearts. Is your blue dot Murano matte and opaque? That’s great you restored your Murano! I do enjoy finding preloved charms that have been neglected and then restoring them. It’s very satisfying, but I know I’m weird that way 🤣
@@pandora-panda once I sanded and polished the murano it became more clear ❤ it looked very cloudy before

I have the suitcase charm and I checked and my hallmarks are in the exact place as your charm. So fingers crossed that it’s authentic. 🤞🏻
Hello! You know at first glance I thought the Love Cube was authentic too and then was so surprised when I saw the size difference. The fake designers replicated the letters perfectly 😲 Thank you so much for comparing your suitcase charm to mine, I feel better about it now 🤗🤗🤗

I've had soooo many of the puffy hearts 🤷♀️🤦♀️ I would gift them to family and friends, I have looked back and fourth and can't believe I don't still have at least one for myself 😳😂😂🤦♀️. But too me I don't feel it's shaped correctly 🤔 it's almost too tapered in on the sides the shape seems off. The suitcase I've never owed like you seen online at different times but I've never owned it personally. The teapot I do have in my collection and can say it looks 100% authentic too me in reference to the one I have which is authentic for sure. I also own several of the polka dot muranos in different colors this one doesn't seem real at all, the color is definitely off it should not be matte, you should be able to see threw the dot at the white background the core, same as your pink one, also the D O R A is not correct in the font of the white murano.
Geeeez look at the I Love You cube pfffft 🤦♀️ the font is correct details are close match the size is the giveaway it's too big. But just imagine if someone didn't have another one that was authentic to do a side by side. They have for a longtime been really getting better and better I've any seen some youtubers showcase fake pandora too tell people to purchase from certain sites because they are so well made to the real items so too save them some money 🤦♀️🤷♀️😧.
The onyx dangle looks real too me definitely looks authentic.
There's so many older charms I would love to own but it's just not fun nor worth the hassle anymore, the fake seller's have really turned me off from purchasing second hand. Hello dear ReRe 🥰💗 My husband is a keeper, but tbh the jewelry is right next to the video game case and so I’m sure that’s what brought him there 🤣 But he did look and take a chance 🥰 I’m so happy with the onyx dangle, especially getting some positive reviews. I’ve always liked that one and it will shine up beautifully. I think the puffy heart joins the fake charm club ☹️ along with the Murano. I really can’t make up my mind on the suitcase. Google shows so many different photos with hallmarks placed differently. Who knows 🤷♀️ Isn’t the Love Cube an eye opener. They went to all the work of getting the font just right, and then make the silver cube too large!! The fake charms are prevalent, and I totally understand being done with the preloved market. I’m still drawn in every once in awhile, but pass up a lot. The old vintage charms call out to me still, especially two tones and spacers 🥰 Pandora needs to make those again! I have that first pink hearts charm it is an old Zabel silver charm .I believe Zabel is no longer sold though I have seen some charms on Amazon as they do sell charms from several high end charm companies such as Ohm .
I never heard of Zabel, thank you Lenore! So many brands of beads 😊 I’ve never thought to look on Amazon and see what charms are available. I’m almost scared to 😆
Hi, Pandora Panda!🐼I don’t have that puffy heart, so I don’t have a reference for the hallmarks or the shape. I’m on the fence about that one.🤷🏾♀️I feel very strongly, though, that the murano is a fake. The glass isn’t right; the matte finish is all wrong.😞 Oh my goodness! Check out that Love Cube! You’re right - they did a good job copying the lettering, but they got the size all wrong. 🤦🏾♀️ I think the onyx is authentic. It looks good.🖤Fingers crossed that it’s the real thing🤞🏾😊I don’t have the suitcase charm, but I hope your research shows that it’s the real thing. Hello Brooklyn! I think the consensus is the puffy heart is fake, it’s too slim 😕 The Murano is wrong too. It’s amazing how close the fake ones can look to original. The print on the Love cube is identical. They went to all the work to match that but then made the silver cube too big 😆 The onyx dangle looks good, I’m so relieved as that’s my favourite 😅 My husband is so sweet to look in the jewelry case for me, although tbh it’s right next to the video games 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not sure they did white and grey. I have the white and more of a tan. The tan looks grey in certain light.😍
Hello! You’re totally right that the polka dots look like a tan/grey in the authentic Murano. I think that was what was bothering me but reading your comment it just clicked that the color of the dots are wrong too 🤗😁👍 Thank you for your input!
Now days there excellent replicas of Pandora charms which makes it difficult to buy pre-loved. I know some people on IG that don’t mind buying replicas. On my side, I don’t like replicas at all on my collection. Having said that those were so cheap that it was worth risk. Good luck finding the authenticity of them.

Hi Karen, it’s almost scary good how well the fake reproduction copied the Love Cube font 😲 If I didn’t have the original authentic one I would’ve been fooled ☹️ I’m like you, I have a hard time having replicas in my collection. It was worth the risk and I feel good about three of them, especially happy with the onyx dangle 👍
What’s the best way to shop preloved??? Or to find retired charms???
Hi, you can always look on Facebook marketplace or jewelry stores that sell pandora. We also have Rue La La for newly retired pandora and Poshmark for preloved pandora. Happy hunting 😁💕
How can you tell if preloved pandora is authentic? Have you heard of legacy collectors?
You have to pay real close attention not only to the font and size of the hallmark but also the fine details of the charm. I haven’t had any interaction with Legacy Collectors so I can’t really say anything about their inventory
I don’t think the heart is authentic- I own it. I own the suitcase as well and I’m not sure about that one- it looks pretty authentic but I would have to look at the hallmarks
Oh darn! I was hoping the puffy heart was real. The suitcase does look good but I’m not sure about the hallmark as I see so many images online showing it at the top and then the bottom. I’m not sure what to trust 🤷♀️ is real. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I agree, I don’t think the heart is authentic. I have it and mine is wider (or rounder in shape?), especially at the sides and as it tapers to the point. It almost looks like a full heart, whereas yours looks cut in at the sides if that makes sense. The 5 is a different font too.
