There's plenty of fakes on eBay that makes it impossible to find authentic charms. Many sellers that sell fake charms have almost a 100% review because a lot of people think they're getting a good deal.

I've had a defected Pandora charm that I received actually a couple of months ago off of the Pandora store (collected from the official store in person). I actually just decided to keep it because I found it pretty fascinating that one slipped through the net! But it was another one (I already owned one that I also bought and collected in an official store) of the glow-in-the-dark pumpkin as I wanted it symmetrical. The hole on one side is bigger than normal. Just a bit, but you can tell it's a mistake on the hole sizing (it's only on one side too) as the charm sits ever so slightly off balance but I just thought it was unique.

I just went and looked at my queen bee after seeing this. I bought her at a concept store so she’s for sure authentic. The crown is the same as yours. 6 points and not rounded the frog prince. But i do have a clear stamp on the bottom.
I have currently got 2 pandora bracelets right now but mine are real from the pandora store and one for my last birthday! But this is so interesting how they look so real when they are not 🤯
That is why I ALWAYS order directly from their website or from their actual stores. I don’t care about their prices being high. I want my money’s worth!

It's precisely why..my guy/I only purchase directly from the store. They keep a record of it and have replaced a pave' clipped bracelet of mine! 🤗. They will also replace broken charms if needed! 😊
If you're so concerned with making sure it's "real" go to the store. I think it's sad that you're so concerned about it being "real", what difference does it make? You can send all your fake charms to me, I'll be happy with them!
Sometimes the charms I want are retired & no longer available in store….. Pandora retires many charms every year……personally I want an authentic charm!
The difference is also that Pandora themselves don’t like it. If you take a bracelet in with fake charms in for service, they won’t help you, so it does you no favours. Plus, if you are spending loads of money, you want the real thing. You can’t always go to a store and they aren’t always on the website, especially the retired ones.
My tracup charm has the beveling ontop. I dont wear it really. I bought the same bracelet you got from Rue lala and was so excites bc that bracelet is retired and i never see it on any sites not authorized dealer sites anyways. I was blown away rue lala finally got them. I bough two, one 7.9 and a 7.5. I would rather have two bc the snake chain bracelets do stretch over time and lose their shape. This was a huge one on my wish list.
I know this video is now 3 years old, but I have a question. I just started collecting and bought a bracelet, two clips, and a charm directly from Pandora on their Black Friday sale. Neither the clips nor charm have any sort of stamping on it. Nothing that says Pandora, the crown, the ALE, or anything. I bought was Sweet Tree Monster (love him) and I got the Flower Patter Clip Charm (2 of them). I bought directly from Pandora I know they are real. So now I don't know what to use as a basis for comparison. Especially since many charms aren't threaded now. Any advice for the newer collectors with the newer charms?

Kathleen I bought my very first clips on eBay and honestly they’re likely fake because although both are stamped one of them is probably real and the other feels too easy to open for a clip and it’s magnetic and the charms aren’t magnetic :( but I no longer wear them I just got myself new ones from the store, and put away the first ones as a memory :)
If you order from Pandora's Box online you can see the markings for the 925 very lightly but right now I'm questioning whether I even got a real or a fake from the store online does anybody know anything about the Pandora's Box online?
This is why I only buy them at the store, nothing second hand or Ebay... This is the only way to be sure that the stock is real. After been scamed on Ebay with a purple shimmering murano charm. I bring it at the store and realized that the shimmers was not the same at all and real one was way more sparkly and the fake was dull. I only lost $18 but it's frustating anyway. I prefer to pay the higher possible price but not to be scammed.
Oh I don't know about you but I'd collect the fake ones as well for comparison to the real ones, like example pieces to have ready when looking for genuine ones

Your rose charm might still be authentic but defective. My watermelon charm which I bought at an pandora outlet doesnt fit on one side and the other side is very tight also. I almost have to force it in each time.

The barrel clasp in my wife bracelet doesn’t say ALE & it’s magnetic. The bracelet itself is not magnetic & has good weight. Can it be a fake? It was a gift from a coworker that came with an authentic charm.
Just a comment as far as weather defective charms can slip through on Pandora...I was buying a dangle recently that has 4 keys hanging down that spell out LOVE....these spelled LVOE! I brought it to the attention of the manager and she said...’yep, it’s a defective charm’ and set it aside. It does happen on occasion and it can still be authentic. Also, the Queen Bee’s crown on stock photos does look different than the crown on the fish or frog prince....no little ‘balls’ on the crown tips. Here’s hoping yours is authentic. I have heard they will authenticate pieces in store but when I went there were 4 young SA’s and none of them agreed with each other on details but were all quick to say mine were real because they were stamped correctly...so I don’t know whether all employees are experienced enough that you can trust their authentication ability.
My frog and bee is the same as your except my bee has the stamping but I think your bee is authentic. I think yours is real. The crown is different on the bee than the frog. They don't have the same crown. Other crowned charms are different as well.
I just bought the same bracelet from a real store that closed but now selling on eBay. The bracelet came in a bag with the stickers/ tags and receipt. It's for Christmas. I got it out and used your video to compare. I've got a good one. Ticked all your checks. Even found the tiny stamp inside the clasp. Another thing I've picked up with fakes is there's often no gap between the s and 925. Although some newer fakes seem to have worked that out. Sometimes one edge can be warn more as it depends what charms were rubbing on their bracelet. But you are right. Sometimes you just can't get rid of that nagging feeling. Your fake bracelet sounds tinny too. Great review.
Hello maybe you can help me I bought a lock your promise clip from someone and not only can I not find the 925 stamp but I can’t clip it on the clip station on my bracelet. The person I bought it from told me that the clip is not made to clip on the clip grove I am to clip it on to the smooth part of the bracelet which I find strange. They also told me that not all pandora have the 925 stamp which I also find strange. Do you have one of these clips is your possession that you can verify this for me please?
Hey just so you know you do not need to send counterfeit back , it’s illegal actually and they can’t require you to do it . Just purchased a lot on eBay all really good fakes and was told not to send it back and to dispose of it
I just received some fake pandora charms from Etsy that I am returning tomorrow. My thing is why are they promoting the items as authentic rather than Pandora dupes? I’m sure there are some people who may not mind having dupes but for those of us who are seeking genuine pieces that more than likely are not available anymore by Pandora or the authorized retailers, we shouldn’t have to deal with the scamming sellers trying to make a dollar out of fifteen cents 🤬 Going forward, I’m just going to stick with Pandora and the authorized retailers for any retired or hard to come by pieces.
In my personal opinion to be honest, I don’t really care if something from Pandora is real or fake jewelry piece or Chime because each person is different and what they can afford some people who work not very expensive jobs like airport, jobs or whatever they might only afford the fake stuff because the real stuff is a lot more expensive. Queen bee ( 790227 pandora cat no) original does not hAve big lumpy kinda dots on each bit of crown, not like frog prince , not at least in Nordstrom pics from years ago. Not on catalogue pic, but tiny dots which would wear easily . Maybe the ale s925 wore away ? I’d like to know exactly how authentic ale 925 looks on it myself , if you have real one please let me know, like is 925 and Ale ment to be as:me size ? Or can one be smaller etc ? Can early ones have less perfect stamps or not ? Hard authenticating some, most are fairly easy to spot but this one has sooo many fakes. Lastly just check stamp area under iPad camera, I’ve had no eyes to see stamp until I looked with that then I could see it just faint we’re so old ,Great video.
Yeah rose is sus, why it won’t thred on very odd. Since it would have only slid about on a bracelet it seems bit weird. Maybe someone busted thred but more likely a fake , aww sorry Hun. Hope u get money back. I’ve been lucky up to this week managed to just get good retired charms of 100% sellers on eBay. Checked them seem good , but this week two fakes ! Jarry queuing to return etc, arguments with sellers determined to be nasty coz u spot what they have done, I just keep polite and return. We all have a day wen pic looks ok and we just don’t check properly and go oh dear as soon as we open envelope. It’s not nice coz collectors love their pieces and get excited to get a new one, or new to us lol.

Jarry queuing to return etc, arguments with sellers determined to be nasty coz u spot what they have done, I just keep polite and return. We all have a day wen pic looks ok and we just don’t check properly and go oh dear as soon as we open envelope. It’s not nice coz collectors love their pieces and get excited to get a new one, or new to us lol.
