Positive and negative are written on its pcb itself. It is better to look at it.

My trimmer was broken and i thought it got water inside. But i take the ball on top with sth and switced the button on and it worked. I put the ball again and it worked again. Thank u🎉

Yes we can. You can buy it from any domestic electronics store. Also try online. One thing to emphasize is that you should buy the same model battery as the one fitted. The size should also be the same.

If the switch contact is damaged, the switch must be replaced. If you have isopropyl alcohol, pour a couple of drops (it should go in) and press it several times. Switch cleaning oil is priced at Rs.30. But the switch costs 10-20 rupees. So if it doesn't work, you have to change the switch.
It is an SMD switch. So it is a bit difficult to replace. Can post that video immediately.

Sanitizer usage can sometimes be inappropriate. Because it often contains many other components. For example, aloe vera, essential oil, glycerol, hydrogen peroxide etc. This may damage pcb, switch contacts etc.

I had the same issue my trimmer, sprayed body spray over the switch and tried short the switch as shown in the video it works but switch is still not working. Everytime i have to manually short the switch to run the motor what could be the problem and how to solve this issue

It's a very small switch so replacing by yourself may be risky. A soldering iron with a small tip will be required. There is a possibility that the PCB track may break, or damage surrounding components if it done carelessly.

Heat the screw with soldering iron and try with screw driver. Or grab the cover and pull it

how did you opened the cover
Use a flat tipped screwdriver to slide the black panel. Do not apply much pressure. Then you can see the screw.

A spray that contains alcohol, but evaporates quickly and does not contain oil or any residue can be used. If you don't have switch cleaning oil, body spray or isopropyl alcohol is fine. But you can also use petrol carefully.

I used body spray for cleaning its works but switch is automatically runs. trimmer starts and stops automatic.
use isopropyl alcohol or switch cleaning oil. or use body spray once again. If this not fix need to replace the switch

Have found one in trash, not charging or working, the pcb burned, but the motor working from 2xAA alcaline and everything else in a good working condition. Does any body know what are the nominal and/or maximal voltages for the motor, as I want to reset the thing on lithium. Will it stand that directly or I better lower down to 2.5v or what ever.

@@bigvmedia yes, it is just the same or very similar to what is seen here, both outside and inside, that's why I am asking you. Mine reads Philips bt3216, and I don't want to try dismantle the plastic insides to get to the motor to read its number, I already have partly broken (not critical) the shell because I didn't know where those screws are, but the actual mechanics is still intact.
I think 3 volts is safe. The voltage of the Li-ion battery is 3.7. You can test this by observing the amount of heat the motor produces
@@bigvmedia thanx. Will rather probably build a 2.5v regulator anyway, if thats enough for the engine and blades to normally cut hair. 4 diodes in place of a zenner in a typical scheme will probably do.

Are you sure it's not failing to turn on due to a faulty switch? In that case, you would need to replace the switch
