@@kackie I doubt anyone would actually be mad at you for that. You didn’t know. Also, drag isn’t necessarily family friendly. Ru was one of the first to make it feel that way. So, there’s controversies abound, but because of the intimacy RPDR built between queens and their audience, people are more likely to feel comfortable engaging with them when they have an issue. Even Trixie has made questionable jokes in the past, but Sharon pushed the line too far and that’s not on anyone but Sharon.

I have been so pleased to see Trixie's love for a handful of indigenous brands. I have tried many times to buy a full face online, but I have to admit what i've seen doesn't appeal to me. It's colors I can't wear, formulas I don't wear, and not much else? I know that's a generalization, but I have genuinely tried, and I keep my eyes peeled!
Okay I’m seriously so impressed with how (seemingly) effortlessly you put on that structural eye look! Also the moment you put on the Linda Hallberg white eyeliner thing the look just POPPED
Shangela is currently on DWTS and she is a banging good dancer! Just so bound and determined to excel and puts 100% of herself into the endeavor! Really fun to watch the energy and happiness that exudes from her! Mad props! 👍🏽

In the mid-1980's, I had a L'Oreal lipstick like the Mellow Drama. I loved it so much. Enjoying your look today and it reminds me of the 80's.

Kackie you have no idea how much I needed this slice of internet content today. Although to be fair I can legitimately say there is not a video of yours that I have watched (which I have done my best to make sure is ALL of them) that I have not benefitted from. Your channel seamlessly glides from hilarious to thought provoking while maintaining an appropriate tone of whimsical. Your content reminds me that while life is too full of icky-scary-adultness and hard choices, I don't have to live in that mindset- only visit it. You remind I can parent and be a grown-up (as much it often feels like I showed up to a comic convention in knock-off cosplay [everyone judges- but the errors are not egregious enough for more than a few devotees to find the need to comment]) and send silly millennial jargon riddled "circle-back" emails (aka work) without having to take myself too seriously. I admire your commitment to growing and maintaining personal creativity in whatever form life will allow space for your specific take on curated subdued maximalism. From your statement-making-yet-cohesive stunning home décor choices to your droll worthy wardrobe pieces. That you refuse to let society pressure you into rationalizing purchases which are clearly extensions of yourself and explain them away to ensure no one dare label you with the dreaded moniker of "materialistic". Instead you share tangible items that allow you maintain your personal aesthetic, as your extension of self not shallow trend conformity. Thank you for validating reassurance that you can be an; intelligent, quirky, artistic, multifaceted human; who some days wears princess worthy sparkly headband and other days embraces full goblin mode. WOW, well that was a lot more than I planned to comment but all overdue thanks for the work you do and graciously share on the interwebs.

@@kackie Ryan got it! Season 1 of Dragula used to be on UA-cam & the production value was so HILARIOUSLY bad that it was good! Then they moved to Netflix for seasons 2 & 3, but then moved to Shudder. Sadly it's the only place I know of to stream it, but it's SO WORTH it of you're in love with drag. I cannot recommend it enough.

this is minor but i know that i personally always appreciate when people point this kinda thing out to me- but you called the drag race contestants men, but there’s a lot of trans women (and a cis woman!- heya Victoria Scone) and gender queer peeps on drag race. This is definitely a valid point! A lot of criticism arises around "men who want to be women" being conflated with drag, and I wanted to try to point out that distinction. But you're right it's a wide beautiful world.

i put my trixie dollface blush quiet heavy under my eyes , looks nice
only 44 seconds in but what if you did a kackie-take on trixie makeup?? like a huge trixie wing but it's with slightly smoked out, dark brown shadow, for instance. i don't know, maybe that wouldn't make sense on the face but i'm proud of myself for having an original thought!

I got my makeup by Mario palette from Makeup by Mario’s website the moment it went in on sale too and my gold shimmer is squishy putty too. Now I’m so curious about how it’s supposed to be!
I was going to say that I recieved MUBM Ethereal Eyes palette directly from the brand's website, and the golden celestial has a bouncy, quick sand texture as well. It's the first thing i checked when i opened it (maybe second thing, right After swatching the irresistible middle celestial shade), I was so curious after watching your test of this beauty.
And actually, those shadows crease so much on my eyes, it makes me sad as I love my make up when I use them : / (but there are few shadows staying on my eyelids, PMG, ILIA, Athr Beauty).
And on a side note, i have never watched this show, but now you all make me want to!
Drag queens, like POC, gave a lot to current culture, at least in North America. Popularizing contouring in makeup looks came from drag y'all. As a queer poc, I really respect all that drag queens have done, and absolutely it's an art form in its own right.
