Your videos seem to be dominating UA-cam regarding jazz flute, in fact your wonderful collection here is all that comes up during a search other than some single recordings, thanks for the long compilation, so I can listen while I work all day.
I can't converse about all the riffs, timing and such. I can tell you, this is cool. My 40s and 50s generation thought we had made up the word cool. Now in my 70s...thanks for this....it is still cool to listen to.
AR - I guess most Jazz flute players find better use for their time - like actually gigging - haha. Truthfully, I have a love for the old tunes... their melodies, the clever harmonies. Some great tunesmithing. Fun to comb through the archives, dust'm off and breath new life into them with an instrument you wouldn't expect. Thanks for stoppin' by and the kind words.
Defnitely saw smoke coming out of your horn in that virtuoso passage-nice contrast to your last number; just bought me a season ticket on the TB train!
Bravo TB track quite challenging but that makes you not afraid, you have everything well developed. You have been very successful for me. St ********* deserve. Hello. Benny
Thank you for your beautiful flute playing. I have played on and off over the years. Mostly off, but I am retired and decided that I really want to expand my playing to blues and jazz. I don't particularly like all styles of music, but if it has flute it can capture me. You do make pretty music. Thank you
Well ol' Fella, thx 4 stop'n by and the cool comment :) I've heard from Jazz Folklore that cool was an old New Orleans jazz term from playing lawn parties at night in the cool night air. The cat's would be driftin' a little flat & bendin their blue notes. Bending up to pitch was: cool... Prob ain't true, but a good story :) Stay cool, Pops!
HaHa - I'm relieved... Actually I don't see those displays. Probably because it's my page. A**Holes. Although the new Ron Burgandy release IS bringing traffic over to the Jazz Flute section, so I guess we should be thankful for that - LOL Anyway - had me worried. I know some of those notes ain't exactly solid. Certainly could qualify as tweets...:) Thx as always, Bruce, for stoppin' by. Checked out your new Black Orpheus - sounds very good. Keep on keepin' on.
Great timing and riffs in this one--- seemingly unhurried but urgent--husky lows redolent with colour--high visitor/commentary count says it all--light up another ceegar, TB !
Beautiful Musik I love it so mach Thanks
Wonderfull Jazz Exzellent and your Playbacks its very very good

Thx J- redolent? :) If I ever need liner notes, I know who I'm contacting...
Tweets? Not sure to what your referring? Missed high notes?
