I’m super late to the party here, but if you bring the working needle over the top of the back needle instead of underneath, the length of the first wrap is shorter and therefor you will experience less laddering.
I knit dpns and magic loop and when I see that l never want to try them! Laddering! The holes at the heel! I never wanted to wear these socks! I am not fast but work fine. But a big, big thank you for the pretty video and your comments! God bless you! Ps: the long loop goes through within 1/4 second!
Hi! I never had luck using dpn's, they always seemed to fall out of my stitches but when I saw these, I decided to try them! I Love them! I have a small size for sock knitting and a larger size for closing up tops of hats and such! You definitely have to practice with them but in a short time you should get the hang of it! If you find "Very Pink Knits" on UA-cam, she has a tutorial and shows how she holds them which is the same one I do and you may feel better using them that way too! Happy Knitting and Thanks for Sharing!
Perhaps if you squished the stitches toward the center of the back needle you would be able for the points to fall to the bottom, rather like knitting with two circulars.
Hi Charlotte, I liked your review. I have a bought a few sets of them, even though I thought they were a little pricey. I used them all the time instead of dps before I learned the magic loop. Now I prefer that.
Hi there, thank you for all the helpful videos you post. I bought some of these for sock knitting, but I ended up selling them. They just didn't fit in my hands. My palm is 3.5" and although I have no issues using DPNs, these were just not a good fit. ~Lani
Great review! I have a set of Interchangeable Addi Turbo’s and I just love the tip! They glide so smoothly. I use different ones for lace because I need a sharper tip but I try and use these as much as I can. I’ll have to give these a try! Thanks for your review!

Think I’m gonna try these when I finally get around to learning to knit socks.

Can you put out a new video or videos using these new needles?
