vera wong, and the Shakespeare versions of mean girls and the Star Wars books were my fav. they were just... insane. HALT! THOU VILLAIN SHALL FALTER! lol
You two had some great reads and favorites last year! I think my top 5 were probably Jurassic Park (reread), Sea of Tranquility (reread), Dark Matter, James, & Middle of the Night! I've already given an easy 5 stars to The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue this year and am sure the same will happen with The God of the Woods which I'm about 30% through, so choosing favorites for 2025 is already looking like it could be tough (which is what I always hope for!). Hope you two have a great 2025 - always love how much fun your videos are :D
I started June farrow, but got side tracked off of it at like 5% or something super early by 100 years of solitude coming out on netflix. then got side tracked from that by one dark window, which I loved. and now im moving onto silo book 3 since s2 of the show basically skipped book 2, so I THOUGHT I was ahead, and now im BEHIND! lol ugh! then ill get back to 100 years of solitude and June farrow, lol. Amanda... I have had the most tiny amount of sniffles and cough forEVER now. is it the same cold... do I just keep getting a new cold.... what the heck... im about to just never leave my house.
negative comment for Amanda on just for the summer... lol... I thought it felt, like... forced? like, ok, we get it... it just didnt feel like it fit in with part of your world and yours truly. it felt like it belonged in its own universe or something where things were more focussed on personal issues. these characters just felt like... y'all need to be single and get into therapy and focus on yourself awhile... stop bonding over both having severe issues as a form of beginning a relationship!
Hope you all had a fantastic New Year! What were your favorite reads of 2024? Did you set a reading goal for 2025? 🥰📖

So glad Amanda loved Caught Up! That and Play Along are my favorites in the series. I can’t wait to read Rio’s story.
