I did mine 4 years ago Looks like the same kit you used. Well, Last summer mine quit, the linkage came off at the electric motor. So, I pulled the Glove box, then the center dash, then one gauge. Still couldn't fix it, I guess now, I will drop the entire set up out, and guess on the alignment, But you did a great job documenting this, good video.
I hate that happened! I’m almost certain the owner of the truck that I installed it in has never even used his wipers. Thanks for sharing your experience because I’m sure it’ll help someone that may be on the fence when choosing to replace their vacuum with the electric kit!
I am having the same issue, I see there s some Allen head set screws , hopefully I can tighten them up without taking everything out . Thanks for your video, now I know what I’m looking at
The clocking is critical for proper parking position. Yes there’s an Allen screw that’s allows adjustment. What sucks is the fact it all has to be assembled in the truck before you can check it for correct position
Great video tutorial. I was about to convert on my 58 Bel Air, then I saw a video about running mystery oil through the vacuum line, and I'll be it worked wipers work great again.
definitely will have to learn more about that... I did like the speed Gil got when he turned them on high. Where did Chevy pull the vacuum from ? In 56, cadillac pulled it from the oil pump. FYI

Thanks great video question did the transmission arm for the passenger wiper clear the cowel mechanism , I’m having a problem with it not clearing it. Would appreciate some feed back thanks Nick

@@DanTheManIOM I remember it being pulled from the intake manifold on the cars. Good question though!

Yes, it cleared it and I can’t remember having any issues.
