The panel takes 120 volts and a few amps, it outputs 24 volts DC at max(alarms on) to all devices. It wont add much more to your power bill then what's already there.

Well jeez, this is, uh, very interesting. These videos look/sound almost like mirror images of the content MrTruealert made, who has now mysteriously disappeared from UA-cam. With all this brand new equipment, you have to be looking at least $3,000 dollars. Even with a tech connection at Simplex, I wonder how one would obtain a 4100ES and all the latest compatible devices for it for residential/hobby use. Huh, just makes me wonder. I don't care for any of this new ES stuff, anyway. It's all highly overpriced, over-computerized, proprietary, and not to mention, ugly, garbage. Nonetheless, nice installation and demonstration.

At the rate technology is advancing, I could see fire alarm inspectors out of work at some point, as they'll probably design this stuff to test itself at a set time and day and send automatic reports to the company. Fire alarms will never be the same again, even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with current (and even vintage) fire alarm technology in use. It all gets the job done. Very, very sad.
