Some very beautiful grains in that wood.
Thank you Glenn for putting this video out. The appeal of sourcing lumber for woodworking was what got me started wood turning 3 years ago and it's thanks to the detailed explanations of how you process has helped me to no end.
The trays look fantastic and the grain pattern gives so much character.
Thank you
Dave.
Thank you Dave, glad you like the tray.
Thanks Glenn nice to see the well explained process cheers from Australia
Glad you enjoyed it
I know you have a lot of hours on a chainsaw but man those are some great cuts.
The hours on the saw do count for sure but the right combination of sharp edge, right bar and chain along with technique also help.
Those cuts... how is that possible?! :)
My next video will show details on chain, bar and technique for these accurate cuts@@michaelmcnally
Excellent. Thank you. Also: I will be coming to one of your 4 day classes on site soon. Maybe you can show me then :). I follow the same process as you - logs to green turn to kiln to second turn - but your skills seem to be way above mine! :). I am looking forward to learning from you. @@GlennLucasWoodTurner

Thank you Pavel.
Great video. There's a pretty severe edit around 13 mins, just as you are showing the drying room?
This is just a 14min trailer for a 120min video. The full video is available on our website www.glennlucas.com
