Hiya ! I purchased the Arcturus Austen collection myself. I think they're incredibly priced: less than £25, in most places. I purchased the Arcturus collection of Bronte's; Dickens; H.G. Wells; Lovecraft; Fitzgerald; and Mark Twain - all for between £18 - £30, each. Beautiful editions; incredible value.
Is this a good edition? I'm thinking about bying it, but i've read some complaints about it... I'm desperate for images of them in the inside and a valid opinion....that's what i was looking for in your video!
Great video! It was hilarious when you spoke like Mrs. Bennet. 😂 Would please tell me if the covers made of cloth or paper? I recently bought an Arcturus book with silky cover and was very pleased with the edition. I planned to buy Everyman's Library editions of Jane Austen's books because they are clothbound, but if Arcturus books have cloth or silk cover I may buy them.
I have the cloth bound box set from amazone. By Jane Austen pride and prejudice what you just showed at the start of the video but do I need to read them in rotation after reading pride and prejudice?
I’m getting Jane Austin’s book collection box set new from Amazon soon hardcover just like the ones with pride and prejudice, Emma showing in this video it’s a box set of six, I see some people saying the text is tiny and I have a good magnifying glass, now I am worried because I am partially sited and have W in built torch and a good magnifying glass I downloaded, so please tell me is the texts writing on the pages tiny because I’m kind of worried now.
I see the plan I have a 30 wha5r bulb up in my bedroom for trading and it makes the books look perfect for me to read than in the living room, practically I use my bedroom to read anaway/
Am I blind or are they a shortened edition? Cause Emma should be like double as big/long as the others, right? I have these in Finnish apart from "Mansfield Park", abd they're all 300 pages, except Emma 600 pages?
I’ve never seen any of the adaptions (waiting until I read each book) but I never realized how strongly people feel about the 2005 P&P adaption. It’s either people’s favorite movie of all time or they absolutely hate it! I think when I get to P&P, I’ll watch the 1995 one and then the 2005.
Stephani Michelle I personally LOVE the 2005 Pride and Prejudice adaptation! There is something so magical about that movie and the vibes it gives me that I adore, and I think the characters are portrayed spectacularly! I enjoy the 1995 BBC adaption because of how extremely accurate it is to the book, but it doesn’t give me the same special and magical feelings the 2005 version does! I completely understand why people like the BBC version and the 2005 version! And by the way lovely video!!!

I love how color coded your bookshelf is.
Thank you! I have lots of new books, so it needs reorganising a bit 😬 🤣
@@StephaniMichelle1 You don't arrange your books by Author?
Sometimes! Sometimes by spine colour, sometimes by genre. I change them up all the time 😂

Hi! Yes these are lovely editions to read. The paper quality is nice although the print is quite small.
Go for it. I'm so happy with mine. They are perfect sized and even though the font is small it's still easy to read. All books are unabridged too!
@@StephaniMichelle1 Do the books bend easily?
@@jeffreykaufmann2867 I’m the wrong person to ask - I try not to crease the spines of books 😂
@@StephaniMichelle1 you would still know if they bend easily.

Sorry I was a bit behind with my you tube. These are fabric covered hardback editions. Glad you liked my Mrs Bennett impression 🙈😂

Hi, I'm not sure what you're asking, but the novels are all standalone stories if that helps 😊
Are they unabridged editions???
Yes 😊
Stephani Michelle thankss!!

The size of the text depends on which edition you have purchased. Check the information in the amazon listing. 💕

And if these are unabridged, how small is the text then?
Hi, they are all unabridged- the text is small but not ridiculously so. I will do an updated video to answer some FAQs soon 😊
Great review ! I have the Arcturus Brontë collection and I will definitely get the Austen one as well !
Thank you! I’ve had my eye on the Brontë set 😁

I am thinking of rewatching 2005 to give it another chance, but BBC version is my all time favourite adaptation of an Austen novel.
