What's to dislike ? Apart from the audio hiss (sounds like you're working in a wooden shed - next to an industrial kitchen - when it's pissing down ) .............. Is it an extractor fan or similar ? Good content , well filmed and not boring in the least. Don't apologise for a repair well done.
Thanks for the comment. There is test equipment running in here - A heat test cabinet and fans clean AC power source, power meters and 1KW DC load. Life test of PSU dsigns,
So easy to reverse polarity on the output on this charger. It's virtually 'standard' on modern chargers - certainly for car chargers. Surely can't be that expensive - but as you keep telling us there just isn't enough margin in £100 hobby chargers 😀
I think I said that it doesn't cost that much for the manufacturer to get the design correctly. it could have adequate and robust protection to prevent it being so easily damaged. I don't know about everyone else, but I would rather have the option of paying a bit more for a better product. The trouble is that we don't get this choice unless someone leads the way with an ace product.....
I have a touch screen one needs fixing. Gonna take a look tomorrow. No joy I’ll give you a shout.
Good luck
