Also, perfect passive forms in Latin have to agree with their subjects in person, number, and also gender. :)
The facta sunt is very difficult for me. I'm trying to think of it as "having been made" + "they are" (perfect passive participle + present active indicative) to form the perfect passive indicative. Does that make sense? Does that work generally? For the pluperfect, it's perfect passive participle + imperfect active indicative = "having been made" + "they were" - which also makes sense to me. And then for future perfect it's perfect passive participle + future active indicative = "having been made" + "they will be". This seems like it could work as a bridge for my understanding this construction. Is this problematic or will it work generally?
Does it mean that in the classical Latin there is another form for 'through Him' rather than 'per ipsum'?
marcel burcus Yes. It can be “per eum” with the personal pronoun is, ea, id.
