I used to listen to traditional Japanese music of koto and shakuhachi many years ago to provide an elegant, supportive mental background for scientific writing. Now I am finding myself in retirement, learning pen and ink drawing for the first time in my life. There are surprising similarities, and the music is still, deeply, the friend of my mind.
I love the shakuhachi in “haru no umi.” Whoever is playing it must be a master at it! It sounds haunting, almost as if someone is weeping and it is full of feeling.
When life's emotions become bewildered and uncontrollable, nanae yoshimura's music helps me to find a way to crawl back out of hell and into a satisfactory mentality. I Love nanae Yoshimura's resolve.
