Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. ھمارے اکابرین صوفیاء اکرام کے فکر و عقائد بالخصوص توحید وحدت الوجود نبوت و رسالت اور ختم نبوت پر دور حاضر میں جو سوالت زیر بحث آئیے ہیں ان پر جناب غامدی صاحب نے بہت عمیق تنقیدی نظر ڈالی ھے اس سے بعض اہل علم میں یہ خیال پیدا ہوا کہ ان بزرگوں کے علمی اخلاقی تہذیبی کاوشوں کا انکار ہو رہا ھے جبکہ بات اس سے مختلف ھے ۔۔ ،

Ghamdi sahab, a very well read intellectual with a crystal clear concept of Deen e Islam. I am his admirer and always get benefited by listening his lectures. Allah give him a long life.
Impressive explanation, crisp and clear stand of view point.
Clear demarcation of what will be questioned, scrutinized and which contributions will be appreciated.
If we understand this demarcation then many worries and questions will be addressed automatically. One would not feel guilty while appreciating or being influenced by such personalities, in matters not related to the core of religion.
At the same time one will not write-off the efforts and their personalities just because of their view point on some matters.
Also we will learn to remain in our size and shape, since we are not here to judge and label the people who passed away long ago.

Thank you sir, The Explanation a d interpretation of the absolute and complex knowledge of creator and His relation with His creation with limited knowledge and limited intellectual resource makes the people to express in smilies and vague expressions. These expressions sometimes give birth to interpretation of a truth in a false concept. It has been the predecament of the man with all revealed knowledge. Since all relegion certainly are bestowed knowledge from the source therefore these must have common vacabulary and understanding. It is the capacity of human knowledge which makes the believers to simplify the revealed truth in a simily which the passing of time becomes half truths. This happened with all relegious thought. It is the speciality of the Quran that Allah protected it in the original form so as to become a furqan where ever man gets astray. Sufiism is is in fact the effort of man to understand His creator and has close link with him. The Muslim sufis try to imagine Allah to achieve perfection as ascribed in Hadith e jibrael. They forget that Allah has introduced Himself as unimaginable in Quran and it is the point where some get trapped into the stray mistyc traditions of our predecessors. If at this point they turn to Quran for guidance there experiences become invaluable. Many Muslim sufis went through this cycle. Their last books are in fact the gist of their search. I pray for Allah's forgiveness.

Enlightening as always. But as Ghamidi sahab seems to suggest, is it really possible to understand and "analyse" religion divorced from metaphysics? Is it really possible to discern a "pure" religion from a valuable but ultimately "impure" and adulterated religion? Can't we say that what Ghamidi sahab says about Tasawuf is an interpretation rather than the interpretation. Isn't there such a possibility? Isn't the subject matter of religion metaphysical in character?
It is ,and it is indeed ,if u hold on this stream in the purest of it course ,at the begining of it in source ,u will find the purest of waters sufficient to enrich ur mind body and soul.

Shia & sufi are new forms of Islam from the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad P. They were developed after Prophet Muhammad P . Deen-e- Islam completed at the time of Prophet Muhammad P. There are three trains Sufi Train, Shia Train, Prophetic Traditional train. Ghamidi Shahab is riding in Prophetic Traditional train. I have come to conclusion if we listen to Ghamidi shahab he will keep us within the boundary of unaltered pure and perfect Islam which was completed at the time of Prophet Muhammad P. because he always points us to the Prophet Muhammad P and The Qur'an

غامدی صاحب اقبال کے افکار تو مانتے ہیں مگر افسوس اور معزرت کے ساتھ تصوف کو نہیں مانتے۔ اگر قرآن کو ہی دیکھا جاۓ تو پھر غامدی صاحب سے حروف مقطعات خاص طور پر 'الم' کی وضاحت مطلوب ہے۔

With all due respect to Ghamdi sahibs elucidation, he errs in understanding of Sufism. If Sufism is considered as a separate religion from Islam, a claim made by no one in Islamic history, then Islam becomes a minor religion ans Sufism becomes the second largest religion of the world. It is a historical fact that conversion to Islam has mostly taken through Sufis who represent Islam in its most beautiful form, the level of ehsan as mentioned in Hadis e Jibrael. The unveiling of mystical secrets which great Sufis have expressed through their experience which in no way contradict Quran or Hadis but explain it at higher level of comprehension is beyond Ghamdi sahib as he has decided not to have that experience which comes only as a result of Divine grace. The story of Khizr and Hazeat Musa is illustrative of mystical secrets.

Wahdat ul Wajood is Pantheism. In KHANQAS, people are taught Pantheism. Sir, respecting Pantheism is a crime. If you respect Sufis by any mean, then you must also respect Hindus (at least they believe in Polytheism) and Polytheism is at least better than Pantheism. Respecting people for whatever religious belief they have, is fine, but those claiming to be Muslims, yet practice Pantheism is a crime, and DON'T deserve RESPECT! Thank you!!

Hindus preach irrationality (be-aqali) directly to their people. Sufis doesn't bring these matters in teachings for general public. They say it can't be explained linguistically and keep their theory for specials. And give only tarikat to general masses. This difference is important.
Question should not be what we respect what's not. What's respectful what's not. Both theory of Hinduism and Sufism is materiaslistic and dangerous to very rationale foundation of humanity. We still must be humble to any man who is capable of thinking and have any chances of understanding.
غامدی صاحب اگر اپنے بیان میں ایک چیز کا اضافہ کریں تو غامدی صاحب کے ناقدین کو سمجھنے میں آسانی ھوگی جو غامدی صاحب کو اولیاؑ کرام اور بزرگوں کا گستاخ کہتے ہیں،۔ وہ یہ ھے کہ تقریبا تمام ہی صوفیاؑ کرام اور اماموں کی لکھی ھوئی کتابوں میں چاھے وہ ابن عربی رحمہ اللہ امام غزالی رحمہ اللہ شاہ ولی اللہ یا ابن تیمیہ رحمہ اللہ یا تمام مسالک کے۔امام اپنی کتابوں میں دعوہ نہی کرتے کہ ہمارا لکھا ھوا نقطہ نظر یا تشریح حرف آخر ھے بلکہ مزید وضاحت کرتے ہیں ھے ہمارا نقطہ نظر و تشریح و تجزیہ اگر قرآن کریم یا حدیث مبارکہ کے ساتھ اگر متصادم ھو تو اس کو نہ مانا ھائے بلکہ قرآن و حدیث کی روشنی میں عمل کیا جائے۔۔۔۔
