Well, they did in fact end up using Ava (as had been planned several years prior) (amongst other voices) upon the switch to the new iNOTIFY system in 2021.
You know, I have also noticed this. Not only did they use a human voice, but I also noticed that they used the valid EAS tones from America when normally you hear the tones from the canadian's alert ready system. Why would they do that? And on one scenario, I have heard somebody use loquendo dave, Mac Alex, vocalizer samantha, ATNT, Mike, kepstral william, and more. Some of these voices are voices I recognise. I even heard someone use Ivona Erik, and Ivona Joey. So, there have been many many many voices I have heard that I'm familiar with, and I have some of those voices on my computer. So yeah, that's what I have to say.a scenario. Let’s just say, I have some of those voices now on my computer. And I absolutely love them.
