Hmmm... Maybe a second coffee company, or label? (Sub- branding...) Also roast the beans in Mexico, for the (lower priced) label, while continuing to offer the premium brand (roasted in Texas) sold in the US, Canada and abroad... with the Mexican (roasted) beans initially marketed (and offered in coffee shops, to groceries, etc.) from Mexico, southward?? As for additional company 'ideas,' I have many, if you're stumped... or perhaps potentially, looking to collaborate? (Several are real estate related, and I have a $ billion real estate investing adventure already in mind to do there, in the US, Canada, Europe, etc.) SMM is like SEO two decades ago... the market is now (competitively) saturated, and you already mentioned seeking a 'unique' product and/ or service(s) offering... which is SMART. At least then you have few, if any, competitors!
Also (I missed the ending of the video, before) if there aren't creamers readily available, then get that (then those...) into grocery stores, etc. (i.e. Healthier real dry and wet dairy, etc. ingredients, vs. the usual unhealthy crap!) And do a crowd funded "cart" and give a local(s) a percentage, and don't spend your (limited) time "pushing a cart," because they'll also sell MORE... vs. a "gringo. (Who would be expected to be charging more...) Also: Target mainly expat areas with pushcarts, in towns and cities with good sidewalks and/ or (modern) smooth streets!
Social media consultants, that's might be a good business you too can be good at. You can help hotels/ resorts up their social media presence and help them advertise. You two have essentially already done some of that when you review businesses in Vallarta, now start charging for it!😆
I think your farmers market idea is brilliant. Even if the creamers themselves don't take off you'll be selling and promoting your coffee to people who care about quality and are willing to pay for it. Great idea! I do also love the idea of creating flavor profiles with the creamers and coffee, the hipster in me is just drooling lol Side note, I'm pretty sure my favorite coffee roasters here in socal roast their beans with butter....I'm not sure if it's a rumor that took off in the neighborhood cause I haven't confirmed with the owners and vegan culture is pretty big in the area but it makes sense, it's crack good lol If you guys don't currently do that maybe another idea for ya? Best of luck, y'all can do it and whatever you land on I have no doubt it will be awesome. Much love!
Haven’tyou both already venture into a business in Mexico long ago with a monetized UA-cam channel ? Good luck with your new business. I think you’re a good man 👍
I love the coffee cart idea. Keeps the overhead down. BTW, you shouldn't dismiss the gringo markets in PV, they serve a specialized need. I shop at El Super and Vallarta markets in the Los Angeles area all the time. It's where I get all my special Mexican stuff, including queso Chihuahua, Sonora style flour tortillas and piloncillo.
Social media agency is going to be hard to pitch to local firms imo. Not alot have the budget for marketing. You would have to pitch to hotels , high end restaurants etc. You guys thought about fitness biz? A small gym? Focused on group sessions and personal training for expats, tourist and residents.
Coffe shop cuenten cuantos lugares tiene Puerto Vallarta! En oaxaca tienen un lugar exccelente pasas a tomar el cafe y tienen el lugar muy bonito puedes leer revistas, platicar,
Hi. In my humble opinion, the best age to start a business is being young, but there is a business profile personality you must have to start and develop any kind of business. You may be happy enjoying life outdoors. Saludos desde León, Gto.
Maybe a cafe de olla cart with your brand and some flavored crema's that use real cream. A decadent way to start a morning. Choose different locations but stick to a schedule so you can build a clientele in each location. Oh ya, charge a reasonable amount of pesos to attract the local business.
I like the coffee cart concept. However, that might be tough long term pushing one around yourself. Putting 3 carts on the street and hiring some locals to operate the carts….that is the direction I would go.
Redesign the vendor carts making them electric powered, 4 wheel cobblestone friendly, lightweight but sturdy and maybe with some power source and water source for sanitation...for an affordable price
I need your help with this. We are moving to PV next year but we have a dog and we have seen from your videos that there are not a lot of grassy areas for dogs to do their business. Where do people walk their dogs?
Good morning Greg and Hillary I've been watching your videos for the last 4 years I finally made it to PV I promised the first round on me when I got here staying in Los Altos first time here awesometown all because of you Greg and Hillary thank you guys
Sell your coffee like they sell the strawberry. Raspberry. Blueberry. BlackBerry on the sidewalk. Put it in the 2 stores the expats shop at.the gringo store. And the farmers market.

Those Mexican grocery stores like Marianas and El Super have the best deals on meat and produce

So agree you should sell your coffee with the specialty creamers you make. I never find any good creamers in Mexico when I visit.
Coffe shop cuenten cuantos lugares tiene Puerto Vallarta! En oaxaca tienen un lugar exccelente pasas a tomar el cafe y tienen el lugar muy bonito puedes leer revistas, platicar,

There is such a different dynamic with watching your videos now over before we moved here. I so want to buy your coffee
Allow the inspiration to flow through you-----don't overthink it. Cold lattes at the beach sounds great!
I might be wrong about this, but Veracruzano coffee is sold in MX Walmarts, certainly in Acapulco.
Perseverance will bring success my friend, that's the Mexican way, always be there!!!!
Coffee cart sounds good. Do you sell hot coffee or just do samples to sell bags of coffee. 2 different angles. Do both?
Your guy’s videos are awesome keep it up!
Coffee creamers sounds like a good idea. I always had trouble trying to find something to put in coffee while in Mexico.
I like the coffee cart idea. -Marc

Hillary's reaction at 4:15 was perfect LOL
Coffee cart because you can find a perfect spot eventually. Also a buisness that requires keeping a inventory is risky.might take a loss on products
I like the coffee cart concept. However, that might be tough long term pushing one around yourself. Putting 3 carts on the street and hiring some locals to operate the carts….that is the direction I would go.
Sipping coffee and roller skating through the malecon
Coffee cart most definitely! Hopefully your coffee can be sold throughout the Bay Area!
