Hello again, greetings from London ;) Sooooo my VIOFO Cam whispered sweet words to me , she said , “ Parking Mode Started.” Hell yeah finally got it working on my G20 3Series BMW. I used fuse 74 which protects the usb charger & is a 10 amp fuse accessory then after almost giving up decided to chance my luck as the slot for fuse 38 (a 5amp fuse ) was free , surprisingly I tested it & it gave me a positive read out. Super happy I finally worked it out. I hard wired with the VIOFO HK 3 cable which comes with a battery protector which I’ve set to the highest setting as I do not want a dead battery!! So next time someone wants to scratch my paint for no reason I will capture them hopefully. Thanks again for all your useful tips , couldn’t have done it without you. P.S Arsenal better buy 2 quality strikers in January, fingers crossed :-)
Your vides have convinced me to finally purchase a dashcam. Question: what parking mode settings would you recommend due to me loving on a very busy street with only street parking?
Hi, thank you for your review firstly. If I heard correctly, in Parking Mode any impact is not flagged or registered in a separate folder? That would be deal-breaker for me because I would want to be 'told' what & when I need to review footage. Can you recommend brands that do this, in that only need to be engaged with upon an incident?
Thinkware, Vueroid are brands we carry that do that. Impact Detection Parking Mode Viofo vs Vueroid vs Thinkware vs Vantrue ua-cam.com/video/JhtTD-_2Wo0/v-deo.html , motion detection parking mode Viofo A229 Pro vs Vueroid D21 4K ua-cam.com/video/KxFb3KgmQX4/v-deo.html , Viofo A229 Pro vs Vueroid D21 4K Dash Cam Parking Mode At Night ua-cam.com/video/iaTt3JfQcrE/v-deo.html , Viofo A229 Pro vs Vueroid D21 4K Time Lapse Parking Mode ua-cam.com/video/mPSne1ssVUc/v-deo.html

Hi i cant seem to set up my A139 pro app,do i have to take in my house to connect it to my home wifi to set up the app? In my van the wifi keeps dis connecting when i try and set up the app grrr
Appreciate the video. I'm in the market for a dashcam because my truck has been hit twice now by people and no note has been left. For airport parking (~7 days), would the auto even detection / motion detection work? Or am I just out of luck when dealing with this?
Nice work, It's crazy how both while no near perfect thinkware & viofo has been killing it this year while blackvue has pretty much fall behind. My favorite parking modes are low bit, radar somewhat sucks it doesn't work with cloud feature & motion
The current draw from cloud or a sim card being paired is probably why they do not allow it to work on CLOUD. But maybe a non smart parking radar mode... But I believe they just call that motion detection....
Wow! Significant audio recording improvement, Ben. Did you get a new mic? Super clear audio.Thank you for the update. I hope later this year or next year Viofo will upgrade the A139 Pro to remove the battery protection device and make it something you can change with the App. Thinkware U3000 I had lost interest because it does not have HDR, and the video quality could not match A139 Pro. U3000 Night Vision 4.0 is a failure plus problems with the rear camera parking mode. The U3000 is not as refined and has too many unresolved bugs as its predecessor U1000 is still proven viable. I believe Thinkware failed to have their U3000 product Beta Tested before retail release. Thinkware is probably working out a solution to correct the flaws. Viofo appears to be going strong. The new A119 Mini 2 is Kool but sad there is no rear camera. Your update is very convincing and enticing, it might be a while before another Dashcam will outperform the A139 Pro.
I am the same problem, do you also find that the infra light is not working at night and you can not turn it on by short press the button shown in the user manual?
What can I do if my dash cam stopped turning on? I have the viofo a139. Not the pro. I tried hooking it up to a different power source but still won't turn on. It's past the limited warranty time.
Great info & greetings from the U.K. I have the Pro installed on a BMW G20 . I used fuse No 46 (20Amp) as my Acc which powers the cigarette lighter & connected the Battery to fuse No 36 (5Amp) which powers the interior lights of the vehicle using wire taps to the front right side fuse box in the driver foot well. Took me 2 failed attempts but was successful in getting power to the cam. I can’t believe I made it work ;) All my sensitivity settings on camera are on high as I’d like to use auto detect in parking mode. I will turn sensitivity down as you have already suggested, but wanted to ask if in your opinion I’ve installed it correctly, at the moment I don’t think the parking mode is on as the cam seems to just be constantly recording..
Welcome from the UK. I am a huge Arsenal fan. That means you either love me more or hate me more. ha ha ha. Most BMW's it is hard to find an accessory fuse. does your dash cam say parking mode ?? if it does not then it will be wired wrong for sure.
Well well well I guess I love you more. I’ve supported Arsenal since aged 9 & that was almost 40.5 years ago.. We’re doing all right this season but still feel we need a major Striker big time!! Alas my Viofo only spoke to me once about Parking Mode , & it hasn’t done so again.. Acc to fuse 46 is ok I think , but the Battery to fuse 36 interior lights isn’t doing its job of letting the camera go into parking mode.. ;-( . I will have to tap another fuse. I will be back. Going to wait till it stops raining again. Thanks for your rapid response, nice one.
I was thinking about buying this and just running it off of a battery instead of hard wiring it. Would I still be able to use park mode if I run it off of a battery.
@@SafeDriveSolutions I wasn’t but I am thinking about the Powercell 8 . I’m open to suggestions. I haven’t decided on a dashcam yet but it’s between the a139 or the U3000. I would like a 2 channel setup. One dilemma is that the setup will be in a car which isn’t driven enough to keep a battery pack charged .
@@nupe009 I would look at the IVOLT XTRA battery pack in my opinion. The reason why is because it has a dedicated ignition wire hook up. Most other battery packs need to be hooked up with a relay to ignition. Also if you are looking at U3000 the IVOLT Xtra will give you voice notifications of battery percentage left. Also if not dirving much. Put it in radar mode on U3000 or impact only as they will draw really low current and last for a very long time.
Hello! After watching your videos on the viofo a139 pro it convinced me to purchase one. I have a few questions hopefully you could help me with. 1) do i have to be connected to cameras wifi to only view videos or is there a way for them to get sent to my phone to view anywhere? 2) the videos it's saving aren't being organized it just sends them to the all file instead, how do i make sure it places the videos in the right section? 3) parking mode recorded but didn't record when i was inframe, it stayed recording 2 minutes after i walked away. Is there a way to record as soon someone walks around my vehicle? Sorry for so many questions but these are some of the problems I've ran into and can't find help on. Any help is greatly appreciated!
1. You can view via smartphone app if in vehicle with ignition on and wi-fi is turned on and you are connected. Or you can take the sd card out and bring it in house and view on desktop computer. 2. Not sure what you mean by this? 3. Auto event detection records motion video files.
@@SafeDriveSolutions oh okay, so no cloud Capability is kinda of a bummer but it's fine. For my second question i see in the app has separate files for front, rear, parking and lock video's. All videos just gets send to the file named (all saved ) it's not organizing the video's in the right files in the viofo app. Is there a way to correct that? For parking record mode, my system doesn't say parking mode activated after i turn the car off and it when it records something in parking mode it's not recording the person that set it off it's like a delay and I've tried setting it off myself by walking by and smacking the hood or trunk it won't record. It's hard wired and i been playing around with the different parking modes to see what works best but seems like they are really doing much improvements. Any idea what that could be from or could the dash cam be faulty? I seen your video about the external batteries and will be adding that in the near future
@@geckosofthecoast If you are using the HK4 hardwire cable. The red wire and yellow wire could be hooked up backwards. Or you do not have red hooked up to constant power and yellow to ignition. may be your challenge

I found this camera’s parking mode is terrible, it will destroy memory cards!! It will consume that power continuously until low battery protection or timer cut off kicks in.
