  • The fatigue and exhaustion were REAL today! I slept until after noon and just laid on the couch the rest of the day with my dogs watching Star Wars and just doing that was exhausting.
Side effects: major exhaustion, headache, taste aversion, lack of appetite, random body aches, muscle tenderness, nausea (took 2 Zofrans)
I am so grateful for my husband b/c he did all my meal prep today 🙏🏻 I’m grateful for my dogs b/c they snuggled with me on the couch all day.

Thank you for posting these. This is really helpful. I have a loved one who is recently diagnosed with lymphoma. This helps me understand what to expect. Praying for you. And thank you again.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loved one. This journey is hard on the person diagnosed with cancer but it also massively affects those in our inner circle as well. Your loved one may not know what they need from you during this time but just be flexible, adaptive and graceful with them as his/her needs may change from day to day or even hour to hour. Praying for y’all 💕

Basic foods with little seasoning. Very bland. I’m mostly vegan so I used seitan recipes and usually meat crumbles or a soy based protein source. Rice and bland veggies. Protein shakes with fruit.

Praying for you dear. I’m so sorry you’re on this road again. I do believe that staying very well hydrated is the best way to minimize your side effects. The faster you flush out the chemo meds the faster you will recover. The only way for our body to flush out the meds is by peeing and pooping. Start taking Claritin daily now to prevent bone pain. You will get thru this. Take it one day at a time. 💕

@@mandycastle4017 I never felt true nausea symptoms like I was going to throw up or anything like that. But when I would feel “off” I’d take a Zofran and then I’d be better.

One day at the time, you’re doing great!
