$565 on sale at $450 Jeez.. that's twice the price of my everyday Breville/Sage Coffee Brewer. That's not just dedication and "art". That's another level altogether. Kudos to you for getting your caffeine fix when using this outdoors! 😲👍
Thank you for your comments.! With its stainless steel construction, rosewood accents, stylish design, and the innovation and convenience of making high-quality espresso anytime anywhere, UPHOT is definitely priced reasonably for what it offers.
Thank you so much! 🥰We’re thrilled that you love UPHOT’s design and quality-it means a lot to us. We always enjoy connecting with coffee enthusiasts like you. Your support keeps us inspired!
an idea, as this is designed around one shot espresso, perhaps have your kits available with two top pieces, so a couple can have a coffee (just use the boiler again, the second top being prepared while the other 'brews' ) and have options of a "uphot 1" for single cups, or an "uphot 2" for double shot {the uphot being of a larger design}, aka for larger latte and capachino coffee making, or for two people. [you can have that rubber name ring different colours to tell them apart, his/hers, or for specific coffee grinds, aka one strong, one weak]. another good will point at the checkout would be to offer these accessory options, in a drop down box, aka single cup, double, two of one/two cup/s (extra tops), Grinder, bag.
Yeah the fact is that it doesn't take long for UPHOT to make a second shot right away, maybe just in 2 mins. And we have a video to show it. But we like your creative ideas for customization ☺
I have a 9barista but this looks really cool. I like that you have different shaped cut outs in the portafilter, is that you guys experimenting for videos or can you actually choose a custom shape if you buy one?
Yes! Can actually choose and can even customize according to your own preferences!🥰 It takes longer time to ship though 😮 We will open this option on our official website soon.
@@RUNNNN-OFFICIAL a quick tip, that design looks so similar to gobos used in cine lighting, can you use that concept too, aka have the metal ones, and perhaps a model suited to 3D printed designs, so its a 'bespoke' product, like the engravings on a Leica M camera, to personalise gifts.
Awesome video I'm super interested in this just got into espresso making, i was wondering how does the Co2 system work with the water pressure is it just a plate the Co2 presses up? Great video though, really cool and hopefully will get one one day.
Nice! I have a few questions: 1) How many extractions per single CO2 cartridge? 2) Any plans/possibilities to enable connecting a powerbank-compressor? Thank you for your efforts!
@@Apollo440 Thank you for your support 🥰 Those are good questions! 1) one 16g CO2 cartridge can have about 15 shots (cups) of espresso ☕️ 2) Already. UPHOT also works with air compressor but It’s usually very noisy so we recommend CO2, which is quiet and peaceful 😌
@@racesub3269 if you look for a video of one of those compressors working - they are pretty loud. So I understand the producer of this espresso maker to recommend those CO2 bottles. They go together well with the image of a Zen-like process, without any extra noises.
great product, now you just need a mate for it, an in design milk heater, and aerator, so one can make a capachino with it 🙂; perhaps using some of the wood parts, or have the "boiler" as a common heat source? and the co2 unit as the pressure source, like a soda gun. Also, as a side, the co2 cartridge isn't the 'normal' one, aka single use, that a soda gun has, which you pierce with a pin in the device, this has a thread on it, the description doesn't specify what cans you need, more so for us outside the US.
Cool, new innovations in the new year, respect to you!!!, but there is a small question, what is the coffee pressed with, what kind of gas mixture do you have in your canister?! Is it carbon dioxide or nitrogen? Although nitrogen would be a better option, unless it cools down hot water or do you have a mixture of carbon dioxide and nitrogen, like the mixture that brewers use to carbonate beer.
Thank you for your support 😃 We use CO2, nitrogen should work too be need a different pneumatic kit that comes with UPHOT Set. Other than these 2, air pump works too ua-cam.com/users/shortsb6GedqI74TE?si=259PYaq8w67D2Cwn
fantastic work guys, a lovely machine, PS, is all that wood equipment, the tamping puck, the spoon, the holders for the parts, all included in the price?, or are they sold separately? is this available overseas yet (Australia), as we would love a new 'toy' in the market, so much in the 'home brew' field is plunger or expensive machines, would be nice to have an "asd" inclusive model, perfect for the 'home engineer' to use, as this looks just as easy as engine repair, simpler, a few O-rings, and metal parts, easy and you get good coffee too!!!
Thank you Andy. Yes everything is included in our UPHOT Super Combo Set, can check the product details on our website. We also sell the spare parts when customers need and request replacements. We unlocked AR shipping rates other than FedEx for Australia last week. You can check if that works for you and let us know 😃
Hi. On your website, you stated the option of using an electric air pump can be a substitute for the cartridges. May you please make a video on how to use it please?
@@norkisserrano We used about 18g coffee beans for one shot (cup) of espresso. Can it be brewed 100% on stovetop power alone? Like moka. Great design, but seems wasteful to use gas cylinders forever. Worse than coffee pod aluminum.
yes, but think of this as a re-design of the Japanese tea ceremony, precise, slow and for one cup a day, thats FANTASTIC, but the best thing is, even though a lot of steps, its NOT steam powered, so is safer, and can be disassembled and cleaned properly, the 9barista is sealed shut, so any residue stays there, unless you give it some de-clarifier, like many pro capachino machines , but this may still mis some, so like a wok, it gets 'seasoned' with the coffee scent.

If the price were $50 to $100, I would definitely consider buying it. But your asking price of $340 to $450 is outrageously excessive and completely unjustifiable. Raising the price to that level feels like an insult to the buyer's intelligence and positions your product as something only appealing to those willing to waste their money recklessly.
@@CallMeDave2 I do get that good espresso machines are often this expensive, and this product seems to be really high quality and offers tremendous value, the point still stands.
