I remember watching your videos regularly a while ago but don't see them anymore. Hope all is well with work and startup.
For 2024, i think the tech landscape has changed quite a bit. Layoffs, advent of AI (even for generating functional code), fewer startups etc. Would love to hear your take on these. Like ... just a simple sit-down video talking to the camera. I remember you saying that, earlier in your career, you left positions in big tech companies like Google and preferred opportunities to work in smaller startups (due to your own startup ambitions). I thought that was a very interesting approach.
So yeah, please share your persepective on the job market, new things to learn in 2024, wisdom and pitfalls from your startup adventure, -- anything. We are here to listen. 🙂

i highly HIGHLY suggest Everki backpacks!! they can be a lil pricey but are made specifically with travel in mind so they are super easy to travel with and hella durable, they also have a lifetime quality assurance warranty thats included with your purchase in case anything happens!! i've had mine since august 2019 and have brought it literally to new zealand with me for study abroad (im from the US) and i dont have a single tear, rip, or ANY issues with it!! i got the contempro backpack and it carries SO much, and its super comfortable. the only thing is that mine doesnt really have a waterbottle pocket on the side, but i actually have space for it inside the backpack usually when i use it and have never had issues with it spilling

Hi Marsela, time to time i come here watch some of your old videos, we really missed you, may we havent seen each other in person, but, i really like you, now at this point i am a little bit concern about health and your well beings, life is hard and some times challenging, i hope you are doing okay, i myself if i get a sudden call or text from a friend or family member, it makes me happy, i hope this comment on your video do the same for you.
and sorry for my broken English, its not my first language, i'm Persian, i speak Persian and Turkish as my first language, yeah XD.

Hahaha I hate typing on mac keyboards with long nails too! Try getting a tall mechanical keyboard, I got a prebuilt keychron. Not into custom keyboards too much but they have a tall profile!

In mine, and some other European countries we have e-ID in our phones that we can use instead of the paper document. You don't have anything like that in California?

I recommend rejoining another studio if there's one nearby because that studio has mishandled too many of your pieces, maybe about half of the ones you've shown us at least and I don't think "accidents happen" covers that because it seems more like a skill issue. They should know how close to put pieces together... They give me major unprofessional vibes. I also didn't like how they gave you a super super high shelf, like the highest, for your pieces; it seemed dangerous for you to go up there and down. Hope you can find a better place because a lot of those pieces they ruined were very, very cute.

Good weather, everything type of culture lives here so diverse cuisine and stores, and liberal laws, so you have more autonomy with day-day things and beautiful nature that is nearby allowing you to do anything from surfing to snowboarding in a matter of hours.

I am currently in college for Software Engineering what do you think are the chances for me of getting a job in that field as a lady that wears a head scarf and covers the face due to religious reasons?
