I wanna start by saying how much I enjoyed Innistrad midnight hunt and Innistrad crimson vow. The flavor of the sets was very on brand, vampires and werewolves are always cool and have a real Halloween vibe. That being said the double feature set was a big dissapointmentto me personally. Only 24 packs at the time sold for around $180? I could have bought a box of each of the other 2 sets for nearly the same price! The art is very washed out which was of course intentionally done to showcase the classic horror feel of movies done between the 1950s-1970s specifically the monster mash variety. The basic lands are really the only cards that a hit for me everything else especially when shown together just don't work. As always thanks for the great video would love to see more vintage sets if you have them!

I have them all (vintage sets) and slowly working on posting them but please have a look at some of the ones I already did! I am however going on holiday to Europe for a month so may post maybe one video in the middle of July and one in august and then resume again in September! I completely understand your frustration with the set, I however enjoyed opening the packs and found some boxes pretty well priced around 140$

Just found your channel, great stuff! I also enjoy building master sets. Love that you can finish an MTG set in 4 boxes whereas Pokemon it could take 18+ boxes…if you don’t fill in the gaps with singles. I’m a big fan of the flavor of this set.

welcome to the channel Mikey and thank you for watching! yes its longer for Pokemon but cheaper if you buy everything individually I believe. I also have some Pokemon videos if you want to see those :) what's your favorite set you completed?

I also like the art/look of this set. But it's such a weird product, more than 500 cards that came out just after those cards were released, felt unnecessary at least, and a pain to collect I can imagine.

absolute pain the collect but surprisingly fun to open at least for me. the foils commend a very high premium and the booster box is at like 140-150$ so it ended up being fairly good

Love the video, even though I really dislike this set. I don't mind them making it, but these cards all look the same when they are in play, so it makes it really difficult to figure out what is going on.
These types of cards seem made for collecting, but not for playing, and that's fine of course. As long as it makes some people happy.

I also fully agree with you! these are made for collecting it would be a nightmare to play with as they all look the same. and thank you for watching again!

What did you still need in order to have every card in magic?

I have a long list bro haha... I have 36% of alpha 70% of beta and 95% of unlimited and then missing like 20 sets in foil. im not sure if I should focus more on alpha beta unlimited or if I should get the cheaper cards out of the way. its becoming a struggle as every purchase outside of a new release is hundreds of dollars or more per card so saving up gets harder and harder
