- A few years ago, I made a video of every city square in the state of Georgia. After visiting every city and town of all sizes, the small town that stuck with me was Talking Rock in North Georgia near the Appalachian mountains. So I decided to go back for a full adventure.
To my surprise, an enjoyable trip I'll never forget. Definitely one of the BEST small towns in Georgia! Many neat shops, including 1 of 2 brewery's on a train in America, a train restaurant, mountain biking, etc.

Great video Tony!!! “The Cookie Monster at Talking Rock!”
Talking Rock is such a precious quaint lil town. Definitely a MUST visit!!! Absolutely love the park there! 😊🌲💯 It’s truly amazing how they’ve revived such a true gem in Georgia.
Wow Tony, I had no idea this was going to be Talking Rock, not a full moment in this video and so relaxing to watch! Great job with showcasing the town, I had no idea! Love the mountain biking of course despite no helmet and great wrap up back on it at the end, cookies and burgers please!!👍
Thank you! Hope you been good!
@ yes sir! Sure have and you're welcome!
I live only five miles away. It's all true ... 😊😊
Wow! Thanks for showing me this. I live in Canton so it’s just a 1/2hr drive north of me.
Thanks about the bike trails too. Always been looking for a new place to ride. 👍🏻
Great adventure! We love Small Town USA!
Thank you so much for another amazing video !❤
I was just there middle of last month! Nice little town! I love the brewery and they have a good restaurant there too. Fortunately I live around 115 miles north of there. 🙂
Talking Rock has an abundance of friendly, knowledgeable people who are passionate about their town. A craft brewery in a train, with live music-and the Boxcar Grill and a wine bar! Terrific food, drink, music, and company.
Talking Rock Brewery's beer is excellent. For a small 10 tap tasting room, the selection is versatile. Something for most everyone with the exception of farmhouse or sours.
I lived in Talking Rock back in the early 90s. Nothing there. It wasn't a town then. Directions to my road included "turn right at the huge oak tree"
I live in a different state now, it's interesting to see how much Talking Rock has changed.
Bro, come to Mulberry Gap in Ellijay. You would love it. And you would make a cool video. Let me know. I can be your guide in the area.
I love Ellijay, what's Mulberry Gap?
@ it’s the mountain bike “Heaven” of North Georgia ;)
In the Cohuttas
I'll keep that in mind, I appreciate it!
I grew up here. In the actual town. It’s not near the Appalachian mountains, it’s in them 🫶🏻
I love the place but I call it speaking stone or vocal monolith
"I've been to every city and town in Georgia...."......😒no, you haven't. That's a lie....
I have, check the first 2 years of this channel. Drive tours of about every city and town in Georgia. After I went through every single one, I made a compilation video of every single town square and city square (if it had one). The link to that video is in the description. You can check it out, or I can send you the link if you want!
