I doubt that is official.. my Japanese understanding is very basic but I doubt that video is “official” I have seen many vocaloids producers that make Miku talk almost like a human while retaining the vocaloid aspect.. while Fujita Saki’s voice, even when she mimics the voice bank, still sounds more humane IMO the guy that did the video just didn’t tune Miku’s voice good enough, unlike the anime

It reminds me of the old motion manga some producers made back in the day, they drew their own vocaloid manga skits and just made the characters voice themselves in that slightly flat, choppy cadence for the dialog since the program back then was a bit awkward when it came to non music related more natural sounding spoken voices, is so nostalgic
The moment I heard the disjointed speech, I was like, “Holy crap! It really is Miku!” I was born only about a year before Vocaloid debuted, so it wasn’t until I was like 14 that I ever actually heard her voice, and upon hearing it, I was enamoured, the idea that this voice is 100% computer generated along with catchiness of the songs (even though I couldn’t understand the lyrics) has permanently secured a place in my heart for Miku and it’s so nice to see her getting a full-on voiced appearance in an anime instead of just some kind of a reference, which themselves are kinda sparse. So long as she keeps making appearances in this series, I’m gonna be watching and waiting to cheer when she pops up again.

I'm kinda surprised we haven't gotten a Vocaloid Manga or Anime. You could do so much with the characters. I can see it being a slice of life, comedy, idol type genre. It'd also help introduce them to new viewers and new fans. Edit: (Rephrase) An official anime or manga. I do love the stand alone stories the songs have, but to see each of the vocaloids interacting, coming (essentially) alive would be amazing.
Well there is a ton of vocaloid mangas but their stories is not official storylines for vocaloid. most of the authors make mangas based off vocaloid songs, which is creative in my opinion.

Back some 10 years ago, there were people who saw Vocaloid fans and wanted to distance themselves from us. There are still people mocking Vocaloid fans for liking a virtual icon. Now, we have VTubers and Miku in anime. I am very happy with this timeline and that Vocaloids might be given proper recognition for how revolutionary they were and are. A voice for the voiceless, an immortal singer for the ages, a character in many animes, an actor/actress in advertisements and so much more. Vocaloids were, and will forever be, my favorite part of the 21st Century.

It reminds me of the old motion manga some producers made back in the day, they drew their own vocaloid manga skits and just made the characters voice themselves in that slightly flat, choppy cadence for the dialog since the program back then was a bit awkward when it came to non music related more natural sounding spoken voices, is so nostalgic

The moment I heard the disjointed speech, I was like, “Holy crap! It really is Miku!” I was born only about a year before Vocaloid debuted, so it wasn’t until I was like 14 that I ever actually heard her voice, and upon hearing it, I was enamoured, the idea that this voice is 100% computer generated along with catchiness of the songs (even though I couldn’t understand the lyrics) has permanently secured a place in my heart for Miku and it’s so nice to see her getting a full-on voiced appearance in an anime instead of just some kind of a reference, which themselves are kinda sparse. So long as she keeps making appearances in this series, I’m gonna be watching and waiting to cheer when she pops up again.

@@halinaqi2194 She was? The articles I read said her voice was an amalgamation of computer-made sounds that when produced at a fast enough speed and in a certain order mimicked the sound of the Japanese language. Either way it still is amazing and I love her.
I'm kinda surprised we haven't gotten a Vocaloid Manga or Anime. You could do so much with the characters. I can see it being a slice of life, comedy, idol type genre. It'd also help introduce them to new viewers and new fans.
Edit: (Rephrase) An official anime or manga. I do love the stand alone stories the songs have, but to see each of the vocaloids interacting, coming (essentially) alive would be amazing.
Well there is a ton of vocaloid mangas but their stories is not official storylines for vocaloid. most of the authors make mangas based off vocaloid songs, which is creative in my opinion.

Back some 10 years ago, there were people who saw Vocaloid fans and wanted to distance themselves from us. There are still people mocking Vocaloid fans for liking a virtual icon. Now, we have VTubers and Miku in anime. I am very happy with this timeline and that Vocaloids might be given proper recognition for how revolutionary they were and are.
A voice for the voiceless, an immortal singer for the ages, a character in many animes, an actor/actress in advertisements and so much more. Vocaloids were, and will forever be, my favorite part of the 21st Century.
