Gixxer having RPM lock on 8000rpm on last gear If they remove it can fight upto 140km/h Older model is faster than new one But R15 is legend no comparison (Unfortunately we don't have Gsxr150 in India)
It may be any drag race, if ayush Verma is riding any bike , he makes it feel a lot faster that it actually is😄. He launches the bike perfect and gearshifts and timing are so accurate.👌
Upto 100 it was neck to neck.... But after that v3 flyes.... I like Gixxer as it can be used daily and for longer distance without any strain on body.... Low maintenance cost..... Practical with sexy looks

Performance of both bikes are equal until the vva kicks in the r15. But as a matter of fact gixxer 150 is not the right competitor for r15. It should be the GSXr 150.

Here we are in Indonesia have local race call IRS150 and 250. For 150 class, Participant was R15 V2, R15 V3, CBR150R Indonesia version and some GSXR150. Podium 1-3 being dominated by R15 V2.0 and sometimes V3, CBR150R only sometime in to the podium and rarely and GSXR150 even not yet coming in to big 10 in the end of the race. Yes GSX have biggest PWR in factory setup, but aftermarket racing part for R15 just much more than CBR or GSX, also R15 relatively cheaper in engine tuning cost to get same amount of power than CBR and GSX. Mostly they tune to reach about 30hp for 15laps. Also the strong point to R15 was the Chassis. For the 250 class of course the CBR250RR the king.
