- Do you remember when the crew of Battlestar Galactica finally reached earth in 1980, though the short-lived sequel series took four more years to arrive in the U.K. The crew were not impressed with Earth’s technologies! The series followed Boxey (Apollo’s adopted son from the original series) played by Kent McCord and Lieutenant Dillon (Barry Van Dyke) with Dirk Benedict returning for the final episode as Starbuck.
Cool scene
I wish the series would have lasted longer.
Uh, not me. Far too campy
No you don’t lol, it would’ve got worse the direction they were headed. Actually Galactica 1980 as bad as it was, started of fine but then went down hill fast.

In the words of Obi Wan Kenobi - “This is not the Galactica, you are looking for”

Same!!
Classic scene ❤
Yeah, it’s classic alright…classically cornbally 😂
@C.UHoward For today's time yes. When this was filmed the 70s just finished it not as cool as the Dukes of Hazard stunts n jumps but watching it as a kid back then was very cool. Hense the reason you clicked on this video 🤣👍👍
It’s unclear why the Colonial fleet bothered going to Earth? They spend several years travelling there to find their Human ‘kin’ are only technologically advanced enough to send satellites into orbit, and land a car on the Moon.
